Upcoming sequel to 2006's Silent Hill film.
It's going to star Adelaide Clemens,Kit Harington and Carrie- Anne Moss.Sean Bean and Radha Mitchell are returning too.
It's going to follow the story of the third Silent Hill game.
Release date has yet to be determined and it started filming in March.
Hopefully I'm not the only one who liked the first Silent Hill film.

Silent Hill 3 was one of the best of the series,IMO.
I hope they get the creatures right in this movie.
And the theme park demented carousel horses better be in it
or I'll asplode!
Yeah I can't wait for this. I know the first movie wasn't exactly a huge hit but I really, really liked it and have been itchin' for a sequel since I saw it back in '06.
It really doesn't feel like it was that long ago that I went to see it, shit.
I liked the movie alot I just didn't like that they didn't have Harry in it mind you I didn't mind Rose but I just liked Harry better. I didn't like that after the movie the games would copy the style of the movie like in Homecoming for instance they copied how the nurses and the fog monsters looked.
This looks promising so far. SH3 and SH1 are my favorites in the series, and I'm glad they're going to include Lakeside amusement park, complete with the carousel and Robbie the rabbit, in this film.
I really liked the first film. One of the only things I don't like about it is that they put Pyramid Head in there just for fan service. It would make sense if he was in a film adaption of SH2. Perhaps someday we'll see that in the works.
Well, I'm glad to know that this IS actually in production lol. I was starting to think that the next movie was just a stupidly huge hoax and wasn't ever going to happen. I was a fan of the first movie, because I know better than to expect a game to movie translation to be 100% accurate. I've got hope for this one as well :3
...also that set for the amusement park looks like something that Birthday Massacre would film a video in...so VERY nice indeed
I still am having nightmares from the 1st movie O.O but as I never played the games and the movie left me with more questions than answers..I will probably get over my dislike of scary movies and watch it just because I want to know what the fuck happened! >.< /rant

okay, I admit I am not a fan of the game; I never played it. I heard a lot about the game and when I heard the movie was coming out I figured I'd give it a shot.
There was nothing scary in this movie, in my opinion;how exactly did it scare you?
and that Pyramid head guy was incredibly lame. I really don't see why that is such a huge deal with people.
I'm not saying it sucks, well I am for ME, but I respect the fact it has a fan base.

Gimmie vampires, werewolves, blood and gore and zombies...I'm fine. Make me watch things with aliens or things that jump out at me forget it >.> I'll have my nails in your arm the whole time.
I can't play resident evil for the same reason..that and I suck at shooters, but that's besides the point.

It's an oxymoron I know, but somethings bother me in the same genre while others don't. It's a movie/game case by case. This movie just freaked me the fuck out!
