I love Nirvana! :P
Unplugged is good, but for some reason, I prefer the version of About a Girl from the Bleach album. IDK why, the acoustic version just seems a little bit off to me.
Some guys try to pick up girls, and get called assholes. This never happened to Pablo Picasso.
The band is good, I agree with Loosy on the fact they sounded/feeled way better before going to DGC but Nevermind is a classic record, is the "Smell..." fans that ruins it for me. And In Utero has some great songs, step into the right direction after Nevermind, like the song Radio Friendly Unit Shifter.
I've heard next to everything that band has ever recorded.
I even heard all the stuff on the box set before it ever came out. (which wasn't hard to do if you were into bootlegging back than)
Dave is a much better drummer than Chad, and he is pretty darn talented. Anywho, I love this band. I was such a dork in high school, with my flannels, long sleeve dress-shirts, ripped up jeans, and converse
In Utero is one of my favorite albums to listen to from the band. Here goes something you may not have heard before: THE PRIEST THEY CALLED HIM
for some reason, I can't post the video on here, so just click on the link

I much prefer Chad's drumming. Grohl always felt too slick, too polished for Nirvana to me. But then I guess that was inevitable when they got commercialised.
Wow nostalgia rush! I used to talk to people about that exact subject 20 odd years ago when Nevermind came out and the rest of the population discovered Nirvana.

ah, the only Nirvana album I have on my Mp3 player is In Utero, but after checking out this thread, I wanna listen to so much Nirvana! I'm listening "Even In His Youth" right now. I was looking at some interviews, and even live footage from their last shows in Europe. Great shit!
The live recording you can find on bootleg CDs from the In Utero tour is some great stuff. I wasn't a massive fan of the band till I heard more of that stuff. I'd definally suggest checking more into those recordings.
[?] I wish that you would stop spitting when you're talking to me [?]
You know, that person you got caught in a car with that contained 13 bags of heroin?
That's twice now that I've noticed you have a go at IndieMonsterette_ out of the blue. I couldn't give a flying fuck what the backstory is, take it to inboxes or get the fuck off my forum.

I've seen a bootlegger selling so much live CDs. Might have seen some Nirvana live shows too it is upsetting that Courtney wont release what material is left of Nirvana. I'd really like to hear how their shows went on the In Utero tour. Pat Smear is bad ass!
The Live in Roma one Monsterette mentioned up there is worth a download at least.
Some people say the performance is shite but they can feck off. It's pretty good, the quality is nice and it also includes all (or most) of the chatter between songs.
Live at Reading is really great but go for the DVD over the CD as a lot was edited to make it fit on a single disc.
Matt, when did you see them? Were you aware during the show?
