JourneyQuest is a fantasy comedy web series from the creators of "The Gamers" and "The Gamers: Dorkness Rising".
Following a group of dysfunctional adventurers on a quest to discover and destroy the mythical Sword of Fighting, JOURNEYQUEST is a comedic adventure through the fantasy world of Fartherall, where intellectual orcs, incompetent wizards, and holy zombies form the living (and not-so-living) backdrop to an epic story of unrequited love, burning passions, and severely reluctant heroism.
And running away. Lots of running away...
I've been waiting for this!!
It seems I haven't been paying close enough attention, as they finally started releasing the JourneyQuest episodes!
Yay!
Looks like we just got another Backers Only post.
I won't post all of it, since, well, you know, it's Backers Only, however, I'll post the relevant parts for those that didn't back the project.
• Begin releasing completed episodes online, which should be no later than July 16 for the public. We'll show as many episodes as are done at Comic Con San Diego on July 13/14, so backers will likely receive their links by the 12th or 13th.
Is the show any good?
Yes. The increased scale and scope of this season will knock your hats off. It's beautiful, epic, hilarious, and… well, you'll see soon enough.
So, it looks like S2 should be going public mid-July or so.
My roomie posted this in response to the "Got Rilk?" pic.
My Rilk-shake brings all the orcs to the bard
and she's like
oh, laughing so hard
This pun - so worth a red card
Worth a red card
Bring-em back to-mar?
I know you like it
These jokes that make us
That thing that punsters are
We lose our minds
Its by design
A Journey-jest.
ha ha-ha ha ha
Yuck it up
haha-hahaha
Backers are waiting
I can see you're laughing
You want me to show thee
Season 2, waiting's cruel
The time's not up
Just know, worth the wait
Behind the scenes
ha ha-ha ha ha
Working hard
haha-hahaha
Backers are waiting
ha ha-ha ha ha
laughing hard
haha-hahaha
Backers are waiting

:So I finished filling out my Kickstarter S2 survey and I don't know how I did it, but I forgot to include my roomie/bestfriend in the credits.
I had to write ZOE and get them to include her as well.
So, in the credits, when you see The Coffee God & Squirrel...
That's us!
As soon as humanly possible!!
is winning the poll, and since it's already up for the $250+ kickstarter contributors, we might see it in say... the next 15 minutes!
Today our buddies at Zombie Orpheus Entertainment kicked off Season Two of their cult web hit, JourneyQuest. ZOE's brainy blend of fantasy & comedy made their first feature, The Gamers, a cult classic. JourneyQuest's second season was entirely fan-funded through a viral Kickstarter campaign, which allowed JQ to lay down some amazing production values and marquee names. Joss Whedon fans will be happy to know that the JQ cast has been joined by Fran Kranz, of Dollhouse and The Cabin in the Woods. And for all you MMA fans: Bob Sapp.
What does this have to do with Fuel, you say? Well, during filming, JourneyQuest's small cast and crew consumed 112 cups of Fuel coffee per day.
Thanks for a great day, everyone! Between JourneyQuest premiering and the Mask of Death campaign ending (only 52 minutes to go!) it's been a nonstop rush of awesomeness.
We hope everyone is enjoying the second season of JourneyQuest! Episode three drops in a couple of days and our composer, Steve Wolbrecht, is just finishing up the music for episode four.
We're also hard at work mailing signed JourneyQuest posters to backers and getting ready for Gen Con Indy and have just launched a Kickstarter campaign for our newest project, The Gamers: Hands of Fate! We promised the fans that we'd make a new Gamers movie once JQ Season Two was off the ground and now we're following through.
A fantasy comedy about roleplaying gamers, collectible card games, and gaming conventions, Hands of Fate will be our biggest project yet. We invite you to check out our Kickstarter and help make the next Zombie Orpheus/Dead Gentlemen movie project a reality.
Thanks for making what we do possible and we'll see you next Tuesday for Episode 03 of the new JourneyQuest.
