Guild Wars 2 will allow a player to create a character from five races and eight professions (the game's term for character classes). Professions are divided into three categories: scholars, who use light armor, adventurers, who use medium armor, and soldiers, who use heavy armor. As of July 2010[update], three professions, the elementalist, the ranger and warrior, have been announced[4].
Pretty sure it's gonna be F2P, just like the original GW. Did you see that dev dispatch that talked about their getting rid of a edicated healing class? I hope Protection Prayers make it in, protting was epic fun.
I can't wait to make a Charr Warrior, I'm gonna call him Walking Carpet

Same here. I figure I'll make a female Human Ranger with a pet bear, and a male Charr with the closest Paragonish traits of the Warrior class. Also that Asura who pops outta the Golem and firebombs the Charr gunman looks pretty leet too.
And hooooooly fuck, Zhaitan looks badass, save the bad name.

I might have to change my naming structure. All my chars are called Hera something. That something is usually something related to their class. Wylde = ranger, merlin = elementalist, mortis = necro, Aceso = monk, bellona = war, jezebel = mesmer, Longinus = Paragon.. cannot remember my dervs name
One of my favourite references comes from the latest War n Kryta content:
Inquisitor Bauer: "DAMMIT! We're running out of mergoyles!" Peacekeeper Marksman: "Ummm, Boss? I'm pretty sure these things ain't ever gonna talk..." Inquisitor Bauer: "Shut up! You just make sure our men have secured the perimeter!"
Inquisitor Bauer's skills include the shout ""There's not enough time!!"
I'm gonna try and be unemployed when this comes out. Seriously, the trailer looks so fucking sexy. It's single-handedly made me lose interest in The Old Republic, which I thought would be impossible.
It's not bad. Basically gives you some lore stuff on how Kryta ends up with a royal family, and how the White Mantle gets usurped.
Also fills Kryta with level 20+ Mantle foes using epic builds. Oh, and new weapons skins, including a badass set of daggers which look like short swords.
