Kevin Michael "GG" Allin (August 29, 1956 – June 28, 1993) was an American punk rock singer-songwriter who performed and recorded with many punk groups during his career. GG Allin is perhaps best remembered for his notorious live performances which typically featured transgressive acts, such as Allin defecating and urinating onstage, rolling in feces and often consuming excrement, performing naked, committing self-injury, and attacking audience members. Although more notorious for his stage antics than for his music, he recorded prolifically, not only in the punk rock genre, but also in spoken word, country, and more traditional-style rock. His extremely politically incorrect lyrics, which often covered subjects such as misogyny, pedophilia and racism, polarized listeners and created varied opinions of him within the highly politicized punk community. Though he had a devoted cult following, Allin's music was often poorly recorded and produced, and received mostly negative reviews from critics.[1][2][3] However, his status as a cult figure is such that a number of established artists have covered his songs. Among them, Faith No More, CKY, the 69 Eyes, Beck, and The Lemonheads.

i used to think gg allin was lame, and he was only a shock rocker, but ive learned a lot about him since then and i like him quite a bit now, not just him but the music too. i really love lots of his stuff.
His only good stuff was recorded with the jabbers. Stuff like i'm a fuck up, I'm right, bad habit's, you'll never tame me, I wanna burn, up against the wall, nuke attack, you hate me and I hate you, occupation and fuck the dead. Maybe a couple others and pretty much the rest was total shit.
Um, Die when you die, kill the children save the food, no room for n***er, 99 stab wounds, drink fight and fuck, pick me up on your way down, and a mass catolog.
GG's music is GG's music. Nobody is expected to like every song. It's pick n choose.
I really wish I had the footage of his court appearence in Milwaukee. The footage on HATED is such a tease. He still owes 1600 dollars to the state of WI and nobody has presented a death certificate yet.

His music... Sucks literal ass to be honest. But he's dead and had a controversial attitude and stage presence. So.. I guess he was kinda sort of cool in some fashion?
actually, its popular to think his music sucks, but it is amongst the best early punk in my opinion. not many bands were as catchy and fucked up as gg.
