"Alien Sex Fiend is a gothic rock band from the UK, composed of the married couple Nik Fiend and Mrs. Fiend. Currently, the band is based in Cardiff, Wales[citation needed].
Formed in the winter of 1982 at the Batcave club in London, the band became known in the gothic scene for their psychobilly, dark electronic, industrial sound, heavy samples and loops and manic vocals. The band has had limited mainstream success; in October 1985, their album Maximum Security reached #100 on the UK Albums chart and remained there for the week of October 12.[citation needed] However, throughout the early 1980s their work frequently charted on the UK Indie Chart[1] and remained a fixture on college radio.
The band recorded two BBC Peel Sessions in 1984. In May, they recorded "Attack!!!", "Dead And Buried", "Ignore The Machine" and "Hee Haw"; in August "In God We Trust", "E.S.T Trip To The Moon" and "Boneshaker Baby".
The band released the world's first 11" single, "E.S.T. (Trip To The Moon)" in October 1984. Their video for "Now I'm Feeling Zombified" was featured on an episode of the MTV animated series Beavis & Butt-head. The band also did the soundtrack for the Digital Image Design game Inferno."-Wikipedia

acid bath is up there with only theater of pain and in the flat field. seriously, probably in my top 3 darkwave albums ever. its in a battle with faith.
Just looking them up now! Thank goodness someone recommended this band! I have a new favorite I think!
We're not as dark as this group, but if anyone is curious, listen to what we're doing! Note exactly goth but I think we're making a bit of a new style of music!
If you watch the video 'Liquid Head In Tokyo', you will hear Nik quite clearly state that Alien Sex Fiend are a "Positive Punk" group- and Goth had been around for a little while when he said it!

If Ephebiphobia wants Alien Sex Fiend- then simply go to their official website to buy it.
In the meantime- why not try WE7?
It has most of their albums on there and you can listen to them for free- or buy and download them if you want- and all at a fraction of the price of i-Tunes.

One has a better chance of finding a non molested catholic choir boy in Rome than they do an ASF album at an offline record shop. Sadly, since cd sales are down all across the board, shops are just taking fewer risks.
Understandable..
Anywho..
If you're in the US..
Importcds.com..
Importcds.com has great prices on domestic and import discs, and they usually carry quite a few of ASF's albums.
I think they deliver to that evil country that sent us Justin Beiber as well, not entirely sure tho.
I always see Alien Sex Fiend cds at the Zia Records stores here in AZ. They're usually compilations, but they still exist. Haven't found any vinyl yet, but a few friends have lucked out and picked some up.
The last ASF C.D. that I was able to buy was at a second hand indoor market stall (Nocturnal Emissions).
Prior to that- but several years earlier- I managed to find 'Liquid Head In Tokyo' on vinyl AND VHS!
They cost about £3.50 EACH and the stall holder was somewhat surprised when I started jumping up and down when I found them- having allotted them the status of worthless junk.
THE FOOL!

P.S.- I also had the 'Judge Death' T-Shirt that Mr Wade is wearing in the above picture.
I once wrote to 'Blue Crumb Truck' for merchandise/info- and got a signed postcard from NIK for my trouble!
I was quite taken aback by that, as I remember!

She found it in an offline record shop, I helped her (we know each other)
That IS odd!
I remember getting a bulletin along with my monthly 'buy me' fare from Blue Crumb Truck which stated that ASF would no longer be available to buy EXCEPT via the above fan site.
Of course- that was about 16 years ago- and being an old bastard- I've probably gotten it wrong.

I like Bauhaus (in the flat fields is awesome), but really dislike ASF. My gf, who's more of a gothling than I am, tells me this is very strange. Maybe I just haven't heard the right stuff.

That's not true silly billy! I bought 2 Alien Sex Fiend CD's at record shops plus saw more there and if I wanted to find non molested catholic choir boys in Rome I'd have to fly there!
