I'll agree with you there. Definitely points to the writers for having that whole kidney transplant thing in there (how the 'remains' were technically in the girl's sister). That was really unexpected and surprised me.
"What do you say we hunt some evil sons of bitches and we raise a little hell?"
My top five favorite episodes of this season so far are:
1.The French Mistake
2.Weekend At Bobby's
3.Caged Heat
4.Clap Your Hands If You Believe
5.Like A Virgin
I've noticed how the writers haven't followed up with the Mother storyline and there's only seven episodes left,so I'm hoping there's enough time to finish it without rushing it.
True. They might do what they did with Lilith in Season 3, where she didn't really come to the spotlight again til Sam had to kill her in Season 4. So Mother might take two seasons to defeat. The good side to that would be that a Season 7 would be coming for sure...

Good point,I would like to have Mother be there for next season.
Maybe in the last seven episodes they can concentrate on grandpa Samuel and the angel war.
I'm also hoping for more Meg in the upcoming episodes.
Ah yeah, I really like the new Meg, better than the old one in fact. Although I thought the Meg+Castiel thing was kind of dumb. But yeah I really hope they're going somewhere with this holy weapons and buying souls business. It feels like it's leading up to something.

Is she? I know the monster hunt in this episode will be one of the Mother of All's monsters, but has it been confirmed that she'll be in the episode? jw

Anything to do with the spernatural in movies that doesn't have connection with old actual stories, I do not buy.
An expamsion of the imagination through supernormal stories is great to lead people to know that they are some more than chemical beings, however I detest schemes to influence the innocent subjectively into any kind of submission, and that's that! Being personably driven to help the innocent mature in a more wise adult stage is my quest.

Warner Bros. Television has confirmed on Monday that it will release Supernatural: The Anime Series via Blu-ray Disc, DVD, video on demand, and download in North America on July 26. The original American live-action television series Supernatural follows the Winchester brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as they hunt creatures and other supernatural phenomena across the American landscape. Directors Shigeyuki Miya and Atsuko Ishizuka at the anime studio MADHOUSE adapted the general storyline from the live-action version's first two seasons with re-imagined stories as well as new stories.
Padalecki, the co-lead actor on the original live-action series, dubbed all 22 episodes of the first anime season. However, co-star Ackles only dubbed "select" episodes of Supernatural: The Anime Series.
The North American releases will feature both English (5.1) and Japanese soundtracks. The standard-definition release will come with English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing as well as French, Chinese, Spanish, and Thai subtitles for a sugggested retail price of US$49.98. The US$54.97 Blu-ray release will come with English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing as well as French, German, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Chinese, and Spanish subtitles.
The TV Guide magazine's website began streaming a 127-second English-dubbed clip for Supernatural: The Anime Series, the 22-episode anime based on the popular American live-action series Supernatural, on Monday. MADHOUSE animated the series, which went on sale in Japan in February. Warner Bros. Japan announced the project last year.
The English dub features both Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles reprising their roles as Sam and Dean, respectively, in the anime. However, while Padalecki plays Sam in all 22 episodes, Ackles only portrays Dean in the series' final two episodes. Supernatural: The Anime Series is scheduled for a North American release on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, on-demand streaming, and download in July.
Warner Brothers linked to four English-language video clips from MADHOUSE's anime adaptation of the American live-action series Supernatural. The series follows the Winchester brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as they hunt creatures and other supernatural phenomena across the American landscape. The live-action series premiered on The WB network in the United States in 2005, and it now runs on The CW. Padalecki voices Sam in the English dub of the anime, and Ackles voices Dean in the last two dub episodes. In the other episodes, Dean is voiced by Andrew Farrar.
Warner Brothers will release the series on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, on-demand streaming, and download next week.
