Disturbed is an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1996 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired singer David Draiman. Since the band's formation, they have sold over 11 million albums worldwide, making them one of the largest grossing rock bands in recent years. The band has released three consecutive studio albums that have debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200; only six other rock bands have achieved this.
I haven't listened to them in awhile, but I decided to throw in their CDs for a spin tonight, and figured I'd make a thread.

the sickness was bad ass when I was in middle school, haven't listen to the other albums. saw them at the first Mayhem fest every song sounded like it was off the sickness and the whole performance left a bad taste in my mouth. sounded like they hadn't played together in years.
Lover in my heart
Killer in my hands
Whiskey on my breath
Cannot stand them at all. Their music just does absolutely nothing for me.
I probably would've liked them back in the day if they'd shown up a little earlier, but I was just growing out of this sort of thing right when they got fairly big.
I listened to their second album on and off for a couple months, decided they weren't my thing, and gave the CD to my friend who is in love with them.
Can't stand them now.
What I'm looking for is progress, What I need is something more than I'll Ever know
They annoy me as all their songs sound similiar and the lead singer has to throw in random noises every now and then, ussually some 'HWAH' thing, Just shitty
I much prefer their older works, much like Slipknot (as someone already stated). Quite a few tracks off their most recent album were pretty good. I just liked that they stayed with a similar sound - not all bad, but not amazing.
Overall, a good listen.
I'm not gonna lie -- whatever difference there is between their "old" and "new" stuff is minuscule at best. All I know is that Draiman did his pig-grunt-growl-simian-sound stuff more on 'The Sickness' than he does on later albums, and that he tried to get all political towards the end. Which was annoying.
