I consider hi one of my favorite artists back in the very late 80's when he was still in Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids and Gidget was still his bassist. I sorta liked him in The Golden Age of Grotesque but not really. After Holywood-ish it was over for me.
Manson is pretty awesome, I must say.
Ah, the music of my youth...
I listened to the little 30 second spurts of music off the High End of Low on iTunes.
It sounded absolutely horrible. And after Eat Me, Drink Me, I decided not to waste my time with it.
Nice to see that I did right by not pursuing it from what's being said here.
Always a love of mine but his triptych albums will always be the best in my books. His newer work is decent but it doesn't appeal to me as much as it used to. I still love it though, I'll be a MM listener until he quits and beyond
