"I just don't think the world is worth putting music into right now. I no longer want to make art that other people — particularly record companies — are turning into a product. I just want to make art."

"When all of your wishes are granted,
many of your dreams will be destroyed."
His older stuff is really good, but I didn't like "Eat Me, Drink Me" at all. And I haven't heard his newest album all the way through yet. If anyone else has heard it, is it good and worth trying to get?

It's amazing how star status and makeup can make even the most unattractive of men 'sexii', without the albums, he would be another ugly derro you would look sideways at on the bus and fear being raped by.

Okay, to be the voice of dissent, I like Marilyn Manson. There are a few MM songs that I love, even. I would name them, but no one cares.
Never thought he was a looker, but then again, he is just another guy caked in flour and lipstick and... whatever you would call that stuff he wears onstage that masquerades as clothing. I like the music enough; do not have to look at the man who plays/sings it.

I sort of feel that way about 'High End' Myself. I gave it a couple of listens, but it did not really catch Me -- not even later on. "Four Rusted Horses" is indeed pretty cool, though.
I just like "Arma-goddamn-motherfucking-geddon" for its catchiness factor. I mean, it is a weak, watered-down catchy, but hey.

I am partial to 'Eat Me Drink Me' as an album. As far as the rest of the albums, with every album of his I own there is one song on it that I love and one song that I really like a hell of a lot. It seems to be a pattern.
