THE DEFINITION OF SCREAMO:
Screamo is a genre of music which predominantly evolved from hardcore punk, among other genres, in the early 1990s. The term "screamo" was initially applied to a more aggressive offshoot of emo that developed in San Diego in 1991, which used short, chaotically executed songs which grafted "spastic intensity to willfully experimental dissonance and dynamics," often with a political message.

Guess I'm waaaaaayyyy behind with being up to date on all these labels and genres... I don't even know what belongs to what anymore. They keep making new labels/tags/genres it seems, or its probably because I don't keep track either. :-/

...Well, screamo has been around since the 90's. It's not like it's a brand new terminology. It's just people call EVERYTHING SCREAMO because the vocalist screams at times. That's not the only qualification to the genre. A lot of it is about the sound that goes along with the screaming.
