This will probably get epicly frowned upon but I honestly don't care. There's too much good to listen to that clearly outweighs the average e-fan's distaste for it all.
Verse's newest record "Aggression" is absolutely perfect. It's hitting the same spot Modern Life Is War's "Witness" did a couple of years back. Hell, I think this is up there in my top 10 records this year.
What have you been hearing lately that's worth mentioning? It can be new or old.
I mean, we all love our Ebullition releases. Iconoclast and Orchid are two of my favourite Hardcore bands.

I'm not totally keen on what exactly "modern hardcore" is but I'm going to say it ain't really my bag. There's a few hardcore bands I can dig but for the most part I can live without it. Most of the hardcore I like is rapcore though. Lots of ghetto posturing and shit...fuck yeah. E. Town Concrete is a solid band. What can I say, I'm a ghetto child.

I've been really down lately about the current state of hardcore today. The fact that I have to search through all these mosh bands to find someone that really has heart is disappointing. Now don't get me wrong, I love to dance and rage as much as the next guy but have something to say worth hearing between breakdowns. That being said.. New earth crisis owns. Reign supreme's killing it as well as have heart, ceremony, terror, bane is still a classic, and as others have said pulling teeth is impressing me a lot. That's my input for this thread, take it or leave it.
I listen to Gorilla Biscuit and Sick of it all but i just thought of them as hardcore. Even though i know the differnce now between the two, i still don't hear it.

Because I've never actually seen her contribute anything other than putting down other peoples taste constantly. I'll piss and moan over something if it's lets say....'Tokio Hotel' or something along those lines. Either that or if someone clearly doesn't know what they're talking about. Just because some folks clearly enjoy something off Deathwish we automatically get 'ZOMG YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW WHAT REAL HARDCORE IS!!!". I don't really care, seeing as how it fits the criteria, sounds good and I enjoy I couldn't care less if someone rails my taste but the fact that all she does is condescends to people without ever giving out a suggestion is just bogus. At least when I say 'this band sucks' i say 'you should try THIS band'.
That said, I'm digging Trap Them and Pulling Teeth at the moment.
once you're done complaining, maybe you'll notice that i'm one of the few people (albeit my lack of posting) on here that actually does listen to good music, and knows what she's talking about.

Your comments seem eerily close to mine so it would lead me to believe you're talking about me and isolation_king through context. Also if the music I listen to sucks then most of what's on your page does too because...I listen to most of those bands.
