I couldnt find one of these threads, so I thought I'd start one!
I am currently reading Labyrinth by Kate Mosse. I havent got very far through it, but its excellent so far! It goes between a story in the present, and the parallel story of a girl in the past, its really interesting.
Have just finished 'Redemption' by Wayne Sharrocks- (a fantastic dark psychological thriller) and am now starting on Kelley Armstrong's 'Industrial Magic.'
I have just finished 'Eragon' by Cristopher Paolini. Pretty good book, so now I'm on a quest searhing for 'Eldest'. That's a difficult task in the oh-so-incomplete libraries around here... -_-

Currently writing (probably not intended but seems to fit)
Rags to Riches - involves - vampires, depression studies, insanity, mania, rape, hatred and love, complex patterns of dreams, female to female adoration (strictly not love). Based on a twist of modern fairy tales, back to the original horror they used to involve.
joint with my half-sister, - involves - the sense of power from an inanimate object being ultimately controlling over an entire civilisation. Still in the planning stages, but its not bad.
