We currently have 2 chat options- flash chat and irc chat.
Flash Chat: This newer chat courtesy of userplane is integrated with the vf profile system and will use your current vf username, you do not have to
sign in or create another name and it will detect your user info. This chat has webcam capabilities, allows you to
view other users's age, sex, location, profile pic and link to the vf profile. It is cpu and memory intensive, so its not recommended
for people with slow computers. There are multiple rooms in this chat to choose from.
If you experience lag in the chat, try joining a different room, the lobby is the default room so it can be pretty slow at times.

IRC / Java Chat: This chat is not integrated with the VF profile system, so you can choose any username you want as long as
it is not taken by another chat user. It is an IRC chatroom, you can either connect to it via the java client or you
can use an IRC software client such as MIRC. While it does not have some of the newer features that the flash chat does, it does have
better security features and some more advanced features such as bots and
it is a lot faster and less cpu intensive and a more stable chat.
