| I'm a statistic. Your a statistic. We're all statistics. 3 of every 5 people in America smoke. 1200 of those people who smoke in the U.S. die everyday. Those people who died are just a statistic to most. 3 of every 10 happy healthy U.S. citizens are sent to war. 2 of those 3 never return. Those people who died over land, money, power, fuel, and the overgrown egos of our leaders, are remembered as a statistic to people who never knew them. 1 out of every 4 Americans suffer from a sexually transmitted disease. For 95% of them, their disease is fatal, and is the cause of their untimely death. They, also, are just a statistic. A faceless number with one single name. And logically, if you are something, you should be called what you are. But thats stereotyping. Theres no correct move, no correct name. Except statistic. The world is made of numbers, which is why its best to stay in school to understand the world around you. But if you stay in school, your a statistic. No matter what you do, your a statistic. This is why we cant understand ourselves, because we are numbers. Thats why you gotta be crazy to understand anything on this fucked up floating rock called Earth. Einstein, Newton, Galileo. But in the end, their just statistics to. |
