I admit. Not everyone was dressed in theme. Cybertron was pretty good. The venue for Rebel is pretty big. It's actually 3 floors. I'm guessing the 3rd floor was closed to separate the people from a separate party on that floor who tend to cause trouble every time there's another night such as Cybertron going on. Aesthetic Perfection put on a amazing show, as for Xentrifuge , I'm not that much of a big fan. They still haven't found that sound that seperates them from every terror EBM band. I'm also positive the night wasn't dedicated to house and synthpop music as well. Unless I was imagining it, the music being spun was pretty hard at the beginning and middle. As for the whole New Yorker's can't dance - that's completely false. Every has their own style, and if you don't like it then too bad. Everything was organized and there were no complaints! Definitely looking forward to the next event.

I come from Philadelphia where our goth industrial scene is prosperous. I come to this venue and its small and nobody is even dressed for the occasion. I walk in and see 200 people dressed in the same exact thing all wearing hot topic clothes. the venue was too small, i couldn't even breathe. Then the music was horrendous. It was all either house music or synthpop. I'm sorry but I couldn't handle it. I ended up leaving an hour after Aesthetic Perfection because the music wasn't getting any better and I'm sorry but kids from New York can not dance at all. Nobody has rhythm and I couldn't handle it anymore. My friends and i ended up leaving and going to mcdonalds and had an amazing time there oddly enough. The only factors that made Cybertron even kind of worth it were Xentrifuge and Aesthetic Perfection. So in summary, NYC can't dance, stop playing House music, get a bigger venue.
