Okay, well, about 2 years ago I picked up a 50 year old acoustic guitar, taught myself C, D and G, and it kind of grew from there. After writing large amounts of very shit lyrics, I eventually wrote some lyrics that pleased me and sounded less like big piles of whinge. I started writing my own stuff after that, and then off and on was with a few bands. Apologies for the terrible quality of the recordings, but to be fair they were done on the buzzy little microphone that came attached to the headphones my dad bought, so they're as good as is possible, given the resources I have available right now.
Music has always been my biggest interest in life. I've gone threw a lot of bands, and helped a few people out on there solo projects. But i decided i wanted to make my own music for a while. Just to see where my own idea's would go, and they were fine, but i believe with Fran i think better, we can bounce idea's off of each other and we just work, because we are both so polar-opposite. I want to change the world(who doesn't), but, want to change the world threw music. Music has the power to make people feel, i guess, if i can inspire at least someone I've made a difference.
OThe world is like a ride in an amusement park and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and around and around and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud. And it's fun - for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question; is this real? Or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, and they say "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because... this is just a ride." -Bill hicks
