Profile: Scratching the Surface;; The name's Mike, and I'm that guy down the street sitting on the curb with his earbuds up loud enough for you to hear what I'm using to sending through my skull holes to cleanse my mind of the day's shit. I'd like to just be mellow, go with the flow, and enjoy myself. Unfortunately, life has a nasty habit of being obnoxious. It's cool, though: I have my ways of working around such things. Some good advice: be the doorway, not the barricade. I'm friendly at first sight, and it really takes an effort to earn a solid spot on my shit list, so save it up and spend it elsewhere. Life is too short to trip on the trivials, I'd rather enjoy my time. Just don't bite the hand that feeds. I am there for my brothers, best I can. But hey, just remember I am human: and human beings have limits. I certainly do. "Loves what I got, don't start a riot, you'll feel it when the dance gets hot." I am allowed to have my skepticism like anyone else, but won't confirm NOR deny anything I have no knowledge of. I don't profess what I can't confess. I am open to theories and debate, but closed to fights and arguments. I practice philosophy and study science, not screaming and flailing. I like conversation, and enjoy discussion. Social interaction is fine with me, by all means. I just prefer to keep the drama back in High School where it belongs. And Remember: There's a difference between a disagreement and a fight. A fight is when disrespect is involved, while in disagreement, you can retain respect and have a different opinion. And I believe that's enough visual torture for both of us - so if you have questions or just want to chat - go for it!
