Hi I'm Melissa or Mely. Melissa means bumblebee and I’d like to think I’m bumbling around helping to make the world more colorful with my thoughts and such. I'm a little scatterbrained sometimes off in my own world, and I'm a bit shy but hang in there and take the time to get to know me :D I'm an Aries so it may sound counterintuitive for me to be shy, but I liken myself to a bonfire. It takes effort and time for the bonfire to become raging and all sparkly :) Speaking to me can be a bit random, as my mind often goes in tangents. I think my mind and perspectives are vividly colorful. Language of me is very confusing sometimes though. But I'm a sweet cookie nom nom.I hate backstabbers and liars. It's absolutely a waste of time and pitiful for people who feel the need to. Stop beating around the bush and just tell me. Life is so short, so don't waste time beating around the bush and lying. I'm not manipulative nor conniving. I'm rather straight forward. I prefer stimulating conversations, not "oh how was the weather?" This actually brings to mind the film The Pink Panther with Steve Martin, where he keeps going "Oh what lovely weather we are having today" because he thinks there are spies in the room...see? Random lol. I am what I am, and I'm very strong willed. I have few friends, few people worthy enough to be called a friend. Don't let me get attached to you and you just walk away. I care, I'm attentive, I'm loyal. Someone told me that "to care is to lose." They are right but they are also wrong. The word friend is thrown around too nonchalantly nowadays. A true friend is someone who challenges you to do your best, encourages you, and talks to you about anything. I have one person who I can do that with. Surprisingly, we've never met in real life. Just goes to show you what sorta curveballs life throws you.I'm a bookworm. You'll find me reading often, whether it be a textbook for studying or a fiction book or manga. I get lost in my own thoughts a lot. I am what I am, and though I have confidence issues I strive to be someone I can be proud of. I'm a chameleon, a kid at heart, an intellectual, a nerd. It's who I am, and I like to mix it up. Feel free to talk to me. I love to meet new people. I go through random deleting phases. Most likely if we do not talk on a regular basis then I will delete you, believe me I do this XD Don't add me if you won't talk to me, and I do mean talk. Not just "lol" and "haha". Responding with just a "lol" is annoying to me XD If you don't know what a homophone is and you don't know the difference between their, there, and they're most likely do not talk to me. An interesting thought has occurred to me today. People claim to like nerds or be nerds. There many facets to the denotation and connotation of being a nerd. Funny how the word has evolved. Anyways, I would most likely fit most accounts of that word....I'm guilty of having a super sweet tooth haha. I'm easily amused. I had two Pokemon buttons for my backpack. A charmander and bulbasaur. My bulbasaur unfortunately fell off and hopefully he is off in nice grassy areas. I also have a hello kitty and melody keychain and a voodoo doll to help me with good decisions. If you actually read all this, I don't know whether to commend you for dedication or laugh and be weirded out because you actually bothered. But seriously, I read through all of this, and I feel like I lack continuity of thought lol. The statements I’ve made are sporadic and all over the place. Well I’m a bucketful of skittles :3 Beauty shines from within...just saying...
