dEKAY is a project that began in the winters of 2007. Its founding member is native New Yorker Lou Are. Our musical/artistic influences are mainly electronic, metal, industrial and punk music with a dash of horror film undertones. dEKAY consists of four members: lead singer and composer Lou Are, Torzo dekay on keyboards, and Kevin and Kris Vonesper rounding out the sound with live bass and guitar. Actively playing as a live unit since July 4th, 2009 (Berlin in LIC), the band has been consistently refining their sound of heavy industrial beats, horror-synths, and aggressive guitars in preparation for their debut full-length album "Habit Forming Substance" (due out later this year). We are here to make you release emotional content. dEKAY in peace.
