photos by yesternight.pl About the band: "We're just a part of the game in which the main prize is death... in this deathcamp of mine.." Deathcamp Project is a Polish duo which was formed in October 2001 by Betrayal - responsible for the bass, programming, keyboard production, and Void - vocalist, guitar player and lyrics writer. The band has already recorded four demos: "End" (2001), "Wired" (2002), "Away From You" SP (2003) and "Laxa(C)tivE" EP (2004). Releases met with a good reaction of the press (numerous positive reviews in Polish magazines as well as several non-native ones, the band also has received some radio time. Deathcamp Project also appear on the following compilations: "Cold 4", "Death Dizko Sampler vol. I", "Discordia Night vol. I", "Dark East" (Big Blue Records - Poland), "New Dark Age vol. III" (Strobelight Records - Austria), "Minimax pl vol. III" (Polish Radio 3) and "Castle Party 2006" (Big Blue Records - Poland). Music created by the band is something of a classic goth rock influenced by some elements of post punk, deathrock, dark wave and industrial sounds. Deathcamp Project has played gigs (in Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary) with such great bands as: Bella Morte (USA), Clan of Xymox (Hol), Cinema Strange (USA), Closterkeller (Pl), De Facto (Hu), Diary of Dreams (Ger), Diorama (Ger), Eve of Destiny (Jp), Forgotten Sunrise (Est), Funker Vogt (Ger), Lahka Muza (Sk), Mano Juodoji Sesuo (Lt), Miguel and the Living Dead (Pl), NFD (UK), Sleeping Children (Fr), The Birthday Massacre (Can), The Last Dance (USA), The Last Days Of Jesus (Sk), Two Witches (Fin), VNV Nation (UK) etc. At the moment Void and Betrayal are working on their first full-length album.
