Oooook well first off...yes I'm old(LOL), married to a great guy 8 years younger than me (for 20 years) - (yea, me and Demi-we know a good thing when we see it!). I have three children, ages 30,19,9...I'm not on this website to get off on talking to teens and not some kind of weirdo, but do like talking to anyone of any age that is different, an individual, a freak, loves horror, likes metal or hard rock, a rebel, and is just carazy!! I'M A "TRUE BELIEVER" (like Mulder) I believe in almost everything, including vampires, werewolves/shape-shifters, ghosts, magic, witches/wicca(but not a practitioner), supernatural/paranormal/psychic ability, aliens/UFOs, mythical creatures(Nessie, Bigfoot), heaven/hell, reincarnation, past lives, afterlife, karma, nirvana, saints/sinners, angels/demons, good/evil, God, Jesus and Satan(& the antichrist). Legend is built upon reality.
THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT
The flap of a butterfly's wings in Brazil can set off a storm in Texas. Isn't that an amazing statement? Physicists call this theory "The Butterfly Effect" to explain how the breeze produced by a butterfly's wings could set of a series of reverberations that over time have a tremendous affect on weather patterns thousands of miles away. Now imagine the impact of millions of butterflies...
  
I attended Catholic school until 10th grade(explains some shit). Have 3 brothers, one sister and am the baby by 12 years. My parents are very religious and older than most so when I was growing up there was a definite gap of communication. My mom was very naive and never told me a thing about sex. My dad worked all the time and didn't really get involved but he was judgmental and closed off his emotions. Naturally I rebelled against all that and became a wild child. With all the sh*t I did it is lucky I'm still here. I was truly a beer drinker(hey I'm mostly Polish but don't do polkas) and hell-raiser, wild, tough, angry, partier, loved speed, muscle cars(had a Dodge Challenger-Hemi), not a doper(never liked pot), rocker(saw Led Zeppelin in concert), beach lover, swimmer, gymnast, diver, daredevil, showoff, liked to watch motocross, playing foosball and pool, but did graduate from high school with honors(spirit of 76', baby!). Disliked rich bitches, jocks and cheerleaders, and goat ropers(hehe) cause we were the freaks and we were so "cool"(yea, right LOL). Married my first love from high school, but he changed and became an abusive a**hole. Well I divorced him and found a wonderful dude who is the exact opposite, and as a plus he is 8 years younger than me.
Now I changed alot in some ways - don't drink or party, and age has cut me out of many sports, but I also have been having severe health problems for a while that seem to stump the many health professionals I have seen(not to mention all the many different drugs they have tried without success). My teen daughter says I'm crazy, cool, and different. I try to have an open and honest relationship with all my kids and I KNOW what they are doing-my parents had no clue. Maybe this is my karma. My 30 yr old daughter just got married and she was so beautiful, she is going to be in wedding portfolios(see a couple of her pics above). And my 19 yr old daughter is having a baby any day now and yes it's my first grandchild(next step-death!).
ME - Look younger and act younger than my true age, but inside feel old/Usually have friends younger than me.

- I have rescued sea turtles and have been involved with rehabilitation, care, feeding and release of dolphins, including playing with a baby dolphin that was unable to be released, holding a beautiful spotted dolphin in my lap cause she couldn't swim, and watching dolphins released back to their homes in the ocean not in a tank!!!(amazing,huh?!).

I believe in an afterlife (duh!) - there is evidence all around: ghosts, spirits, lost souls, past lives, angels, miracles, and yes, Virginia, SCIENCE(many physicists know this for a fact)...energy cannot be destroyed, it only changes form!!! and humans are big vessels of energy. "FIRST LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS: The total amount of energy in the universe is constant; therefore it follows that the LAW OF CONSERVATION OF ENERGY states: Energy is neither created nor destroyed in ordinary chemical reactions and physical changes". Death is both a chemical reaction and physical change!!! Sooooo, boys and girls(not being condescending), what we have here is one example of proof positive from science itself; many branches of science now have reputable data confirming life after death!
I also believe in a creative force I call "God"(not the anthropomorphic God of fundamentalism), but a type of constant creation, guided evolution(unlike Darwin's incomplete theories), based on personal beliefs, knowledge, education and faith. {Soon I will be including a special journal entry of research I have found for all those skeptics out there with websites included}!

I AM A TRUE SCORPIO
I have endured and conquered many serious problems in my life that most people just see in movies or read about. I went to school and worked my ass off to get highest honors, summa cum laude, and wanted to rehabilitate and release captive dolphins(and receive SOME monetary allowance). I guess I will have to settle for my second choice in careers, paranormal investigator or cryptozoologist/xenobiologist or maybe Buddhist monk(got ya,haha-no really I do want to research the supernatural-I've been studying it since elementary school). Maybe I'm just impatient, which I am. Who really knows what happens next?; everything happens for a reason-serendipity! I would like to be Saint Michael the Archangel's helper on earth(like in the movie "Fallen").

Scorpio is a water sign and I love, have to be around, water, the ocean, rivers, lakes, and have aquariums and fountains all over my house. Love to collect shells, anything from the beach, river rocks, and driftwood. Scuba is my fav activity and on my second dive ever-I even saw a wild manatee that came up close within touching distance(but as a marine biologist, I know it's illegal to touch marine mammals, but I really wanted to just reach out and hug him)! I love all kinds of people of all races and cultures, pretty twinkling eyes, great smiles that light up the face. Love long hair on guys, always have, always will! I know I'm married, but I appreciate beauty in males and females, that doesn't mean I want to have sex with them or that I'm coming on to them. I like people who are real, fun, funny, love nature and water activities, love music, adventurous, sweet, sarcastic. For some reason, I'm drawn to Libras, or they to me(I married 2).
  
REAL TRUE HEROES(genuine people to admire): Dr Wursig, living his dream as the third marine mammalogist in the country-where his career and homelife are perfectly coordinated, the Warrens Mr. Warren has passed away now)-"true believers" and fighters of "real evil" with courage, faith and conviction for so many years, Henry Rollins for speaking his mind and saying f*ck this to almost everything, Steven Spielberg and M. Night Shayamalan for knowing what is in our hearts and imagination, and Saint Francis of Assisi-patron saint of animals and the environment. I have to mention my mom and husband for being my guardian angels on earth. And Ozzie just for the hell of it!

BUFFY AND ANGEL-MY FALLEN HEROES: Oh, and of course SPIKE,yum!! Buffy the Vampire Slayer was my all time favorite TV show and I'm actually still sad about it being gone(loved those guys, the Scoobies, and Buffy was my hero, not to mention falling in love with Angel and Spike and hated the way it ended-but the way Angel ended was so much worse-and what the hell happened to Angel and Spike-just praying for a movie!!!!)! Mulder and Scully were my old favs and are still in my heart!!!(I also collect memorabilia and dvd's from these shows).

THE TUBE: I don't watch much TV, (mostly reruns-esp. Buffy). I esp. enjoy the Buffy musical-"Once more with feeling"(my all time fav Buffy episode & have the original show poster signed by the cast but I cry every time I watch it, Angel, Supernatural, X-Files, Charmed, Medium, Millennium, FreakyLinks, Psych, Monk, The Others, Dresden Files, Hex, and Chiller, Scifi, Animal, Discovery, and History channels.

- DEATH***(and that my dad died).
- Hypocrites, fakes, superficial people.
- Lying/Dishonesty-if you lie to me that is worse than anything you might have done to me, but if you tell me the truth I might understand or give you a break, but lying is unforgivable(hate to use that word because forgiveness is necessary for any relationship and for yourself).
- Reality shows(get a life*).
- Pro sports and players.
- Country music, rap, hip hop and pop turn me off.
- Diamonds(not a girl's best friend) and gold.
- ANIMAL CRUELTY - hunters(anyone that thinks it's fun to kill animals is sick*); People who wear fur, The meat industry for it's cruelty and it's gross (wish I had the will and the money to be vegan); Animal testing.
- Labeling people, especially cause of their clothes, hair, body decorations, or music.
- People with closed minds and religious fanatics.
- People who hate children(they scare me)*
- Porn and exploitation of the innocent.
- Abusive macho a**holes.
- Duplicity, backstabbers, sycophants.
- Judgmental people(esp. those that hate because of how a person looks or their sexual preference).
- Condescending and overly arrogant people or those who think they are better than everyone else(those "holier than thou types").
- Stupidity, ignorance(and people who run off at the mouth when they know nothing about the subject).
- Messiness, carelessness, inconsideration, apathy.
- Littering, pollution, destruction of coral reefs or rainforests (or any sensitive environment), overfishing, overgrazing, poaching.
- Taking advantage or hurting innocent people or animals, circuses, most zoos, captive marine mammals, making animals perform for entertainment.
- PAIN(which I'm in most of the time), being sick so much, getting old.
- Not being able to remember all the stuff I learned in college and not being able to finish grad school.
- Rich conspicuous consumption by overly wealthy greedy motherf*ckers, materialistic people, and always having some catastrophe(especially at the worse times).
- Rush is not only ***WRONG*** but his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top (and I'm being nice).
- Family Guy(and the rest of "Adult Swim"-all you have to watch to see the insidious, perverse, skewed, insincere and pathetically unconcerned most people are when they find such things humorous.
- Oh, and drugs are bad***
I HATE ABORTION-it is wrong. There already are choices: birth control, adoption, or self control. I was a birth mom at 16 and support adoption(want to start a club called "Rockers for Life"). A child inside its mother is A PERSON, A HUMAN BEING, AN INDIVIDUAL. And no, I'm not being ignorant, I am a biologist and actually the more I learned the more I knew abortion was wrong. Many scientists agree with this(not just religious fundamentalists). Don't be fooled by famous people speaking for "CHOICE"(really who the hell do they think they are, not my role models). People just want to do whatever and not take consequences for their actions. And rape doesn't make it any less than a tiny human being(I was raped in my twenties, so I'm speaking from experience not ignorance)-(ok, off soap box)!!!

Also hate censorship of music and book burning by puritanical crazies! I don't understand self mutilation and suicide(and I definitely have been depressed at times, but would never think of losing my life-it is a precious and fleeting thing). Doctors lying arrogant egomaniacs. Noisy people at the movies(watch out I sting!). Really don't like the outline of my profile or my VF name(rather be scorpionmermaid), but my daughter set them up for me, so what can I say, besides I'm a beginner at HTML and don't know how to change it yet, so please excuse the little mistakes. Oh, and dial-up internet sucks!!! Oh, and I have to add people on VF who use their incorrect ages and have nothing to say on their profile, and all the guys who are pervs and all they talk about is the female anatomy, getting laid, and bondage,etc. And the women displaying their half naked bodies-they should start an online porn site, it would be more profitable. And lastly, using lots of quizzes to explain yourself is fun and may come with pretty pictures but how does that honestly express your true self-unless you are just about fantasy images-give us some honest true facts about you so we can know the "real" you!
I think I'm running off at the brain here. I'm not going to add much about my looks-how I don't like this or that cause its boring and superficial.
