About Me
It is unbelievably hard to tell anyone about myself because I am constantly changing. My likes and dislikes all change depending on the day, my mood, and what I happen to be interested in at that very moment. I am constantly questioning my beliefs and analyzing myself as well as others around me in order to fine tune and improve upon myself.
Here are a few things I can tell you.
I'm opinionated, stubborn, laid back, and nocturnal. I'm full of contradictions and I lose things often. I'm slightly clumsy, quite forgetful, and never on time.
I have an amazing boyfriend of five years, who never ceases to entertain, enlighten, amuse, amaze, and fascinate me. I have no idea where I would be today without him, and that's just how I like it. There aren't any words in any language that can accurately describe how much I love him.
I'm a junior in college, currently double majoring in Anthropology and Studio Art, photography to be specific. I have many hopes and I'm quite the dreamer, but unfortunately, my motivation only comes in short bursts. I procrastinate from doing just about everything and it often gets me in trouble.
I'm interested in so many things and I love to learn. I am unbelievably indecisive, so it is not surprising to say that I had some problems when it came time to choose my major. I debated on Philosophy, Psychology, Religious Studies, Astronomy, Anthropology, and Art, or any combination of two. I settled on Anthropology because humanity is extremely fascinating and I can tie any of my other interests in with it. I chose studio art because I've been doing art, painting, drawing, and other crafts, ever since I can remember. Art is one of the very few things that comes naturally to me. I love the creative process and I love seeing all of the wonderful things that people, all over the world, have the ability to create.
I love drugs. I am interested in everything about them; the effects on the body, how they produce that effect, and the various experiences you have while on the drugs. Their ability to open your eyes, relax you, and make you think outside of the box is just awesome. My favorites are analgesics like Oxycodone [Percocet and Oxycontin] and Hyrocodone [Vicodin and Lorcet], benzodiazapines like Lorazepam [Ativan], and MDMA [Ecstasy].
If you haven't noticed yet, I'm quite the Liberal. And I'm not too very religious. My religious beliefs lay anywhere in between Atheist, Agnostic, Humanist, and Existentialist beliefs. They can pretty much be summed up with these quotes:
"Some of you know that I am neither Christian, nor Jewish, nor Buddhist, nor a conventionally religious person of any sort. I am a humanist, which means, in part, that I have tried to behave decently without any expectations of rewards or punishments after I'm dead."- Kurt Vonnegut
"Religion must die for mankind to survive."- Bill Maher
“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.” — Stephen F. Roberts, Like Rolling Uphill
I enjoy intelligent conversations, controversial subjects, and debates very much. If you'd like to know more about my beliefs, or would just like to talk, message me, but please refrain from telling me how sexy I am, calling me cute, or just saying hi, or hello, or whatever. I can seriously care less about how attractive you think I am. I might respond to be polite, but if I don't believe that you can contribute to an actual conversation, you probably won't hear back from me.
I believe we can all learn a lot from crayons. Some of them are sharp, some of them are pretty, some are bright, but others... are not. All are different colors, yet they all get along in the same box. I hate any form of discrimination. It's bullshit and has no purpose. We are all the same, for the most part. All equal. If you think different, you probably need to be stabbed in the eye with a rusty spork.
" Most people rely on rules and authorities to tell them what to do, what to value, and how to live. The people who eventually learn to create their lives anew will represent a new stage in human transformation." -Friedrich Nietzsche
Break out of the "norm", be unique, help society Evolve.
I'm jealous of the guy who threw his shoes at George Bush. I would love to have had that opportunity.
Although, if I had that opportunity, I wouldn't have missed.
Quotes
"I love the magnificant exuberance of a young beast of prey that plays gracefully; and as it plays, dismembers."- Friedrich Nietzsche
"Break the sort of boundries of what is "normal" - or what is considered "normal". You've got to step outside of that. Break the routine and not be afraid to try new things. We close ourselves off and we live in these little worlds that are comfortable and safe. It's routine, boring, and filled with fear and guilt and it's no good. It's not good for you."- Johnny Depp
"Well, it could be worse man. A woman could cut off your penis while you're sleeping and toss it out the window of a moving car."- Tyler Durden -Fight Club
"Human aggression is instinctual. Humans have not evolved any ritualized aggression-inhibiting mechanisms to ensure the survival of the species. For this reason man is considered a very dangerous animal."- Konrad Lorenz
"The Antichrist isn't just me, or just one person. It's all of us, a collective state of mind that America needs to have awakened in them. I want to wake it in them. Americans need to realize that they don't have to believe in something just because they've been told it all their lives. You can't have someone who's never had sex or or drugs telling you it's wrong. Only through experience can you determine your own morality. Humanity isn't about constantly having to seek forgiveness for being human; humanity is leading a guiltless existance as an individual. That is Armageddon, because, to Christianity, if you forsake the idea of God and believe in yourself, the world is over."- Marilyn Manson
"There is no real genius without a mixture of madness."-Aristotle
"Believe in nothing. No matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense."- Buddha
