Black Wave. Death Glam. All words used to describe us... Formed in 1996 by vocalist Reverend Charles Lupula (and the since departed bassist/co-vocalist Dana Volkerts), Dark Eden are a band that encompasses many worlds. Existing mainly to weaken the shackles of Christianity while making sure not to forget to have fun doing it, they are known for their furious stage show, their dedication to their craft, their deranged sense of humor, their blatant sexuality, and a sound that mixes black metal and death rock with a little bit of goth. They are currently getting ready to return to touring to promote their second CD, Jehovah's Sickness (the title inspired by a lyric from the Electric Hellfire Club song, "Hypochristian), and going into a heavier direction than their first self-released album, 2003's Rock Me Asmodeus, from which the songs "3 Years, 10 Months, 8 Days" (for which there is a video available on the Dark Eden website) and "White Magick Boy" derive. The new tracks tracks here, "Double Plus Ungood," "You'll All Be Really Sorry When the Raptures Comes Along," "Dark Eden," and "Somebody Else's Problem" are merely a preview of what is to come from the boys and girls of Dark Eden on their newest album. The new remix of "White Magick Boy" will be available on the promotional single for "Cadavera Eorum," available in April/May.
With Klebiod Harris on guitar/backing vocals, Liiratai on keyboards, and Tantrum on drums, they have played with bands as diverse as 45 Grave, the Genitorturers, Hanzel und Gretyl, Hate in the Box, The Straphangers, Another Dying Democracy, Ghost Orgy, But Not Forgotten, If Man Is Five, Hymen Holocaust, Electric Frankenstein, Abominatrix, EnVayne, Deimos, I Despise, End of an Era, Anathema Device, Invidia, Raza Odiada, and many others. The band is currently seeking a fulltime bassist, but that has yet to slow them down.

Roll Call:
Chairman Charles Lupula - vocals/additional instruments - philosopher, performance artist, revolutionary, licensed Reverend, Satanic Activist, porn star, actor, model, and founder of Dark Eden, Reverend Charles Lupula is the founding father of this dark little family. Having founded Dark Eden as part of an equal reaction against the pretentious bullshit that was grunge, particularly Pearl Jam, and the lies of Christianity, the not-so-good Reverend has special Kool Aid for everyone
Tantrum - drums - creator of the "peak gravity" theory, avid reader, master of quantum physics, goddess of the primal dance, and all around resident mad scientist, the tiny but all-powerful entity known only as Tantrum sounds the beat to the rest of the band's modern Pied Pipers, leading the rats to Glorious, Glorious DOOM! Not quite as innocent as she looks, our little orange demon is way more than you can deal with and not what you'd expect. Her mind is a sharpened weapon and is only matches by the power she wields on drums.
Kleibold Harris, Esq. - lead guitar/backing vocals - Proving that, much like the Marine Corp and the mafia, no one actually ever leaves Dark Eden, they're just called into service in time of need. Making appearances with the band whenever he's not out lawyerin' with his fancy new friends, his distortion pedal brings the boys to the yard, and is the only male in the band who doesn't wear makeup, because he's too fucking pretty to need it.
Liiratai - keyboard - From Russia, with hate, comes the newest edition to our unholy union. First encountering us when we opened for the legendary 45 Grave at the equally legendary CBGB's, this corrupted youth now finds herself creating nightmares and summoning all sorts of unnameables as one of us. A combat boot to the face of the average apathetic drones that bah their way through life, she proves that keyboards don't equal soft.
