I am Matthew Bayliss, I live in Middlesbrough, UK. I hate the place but it's where I've been all my life. I am currently at college where I study computers and make many sarcastic remarks.

I think our education system is flawed, we force our students to memorise facts, pointless dates and names of people. Anyone can memorise a list of facts, but does having a memory give you the ability to think?

I am a web designer, I can make layouts for just about anything, except myspace as I hate it. If you ask nicely enough I may consider making a layout for you but I have many other things to do and I will only make anything for someone I think has some valid contribution to society, i.e., isn't an ape. I also have a website LazyCoder where I make scripts and some layouts for this very site. [currently offline]

I spend most of my time either on my computer making codes to do various things, reading books and watching movies or laying on the grass talking to a friend who will never talk back.

I strongly believe in Open software, why should companies decide what is good and bad when it's the users that use it.
