Greasemonkey and Stylish are firefox extensions that let you run your - or other peoples scripts and stylesheets on certain web pages.

Why's that useful? Because it means that you can manipulate web pages to do things that even the designer didn't intend. You can add features to make the site more functional or to look better. Or you can take features away, or even create notifications and keyboard shortcuts!

Okay and whats the difference between the two? Greasemonkey lets you use javascript. Stylish lets you use css. Css is mainly to define how a page looks, while javascript lets you add funky features!

But I don't know any codez! You dont have to! What do you think this cults for? We write scripts for you (for vampirefreaks) and you just have to click the install button!

Wowzers! How do I get started? Well you'll need to go download and install Firefox - don't worry, it wont mess up your computer, and you wont get any virus's or spyware from installing it! And also don't worry! you will still have your old browser after you install it!!!

Okay I have Firefox, now what? just install these two extensions! Greasemonkey - and Stylish. Again don't worry! They wont mess up your computer! >.<
Restart Firefox, then come back here and click this link - that's just the vfscripts personal script! it lets us do funky stuff with this cult which you probably wont see on any other cults.

If you consider yourself to be quite good with css - also message me! The more people making styles we have - the better. Cuz then there will be more styles to choose from! =]

anyway! - Let me explain whats new with the cult - now that you've got our script installed!

First of all - all the text will load in this box - No its not an anchor thank god, its ajax - the thing that anchors try to immitate. An by the way for the geeks amongst you: because you're using greasemonkey ajax can fetch un-localised files!

Next - all the cults forum pages will open in popups. That means that I dont have to worry about putting navigation on the forum pages, and you dont have to leave this page to view the forums. Also - it's just generally pretty cool lolz! =]

Greasemonkey Scripts
To install the scripts just click the name, and click install after the timer reaches 0.
Scripts with - settings in their description have settings, right clickt he greasemonkey icon in the bottom right corner, hover over user script commands, and click the script that you wish to edit!

Image Resizer - prevents images on vf from stretching your screen.
VF Alerter - whatever website you are on you will be notified about new messages, comments or pic comments! - settings
Menu0Hidez - Hides the top VF menu untill you move your cursor towards the top of the page.
Keyboard shortcuts - 0 = main, 1 = inbox, 2 = comments, 3 = my cults, 4 = edit profile.
NoLayouts - Go any profile with this script and they will have the default layout, with none of their own css!
vfVideoDownloader - Adds a download link to vampirefreaks video pages.
musicOff - Adds a button to the top right hand corner of profiles with media players to turnt he tunes off!
showComments - Makes comments consistently visible on peoples profiles if they are hidden!
inviteQuick - When you have new invites - just hover over Group Invites in the leftnav to see it!
phishCheck - If the site you are on is a VF phishing site - then a red cross will appear in the bottom left of the screen!
loadItQuick - When you have new inbox messages or comments, hover over the link to view it - settings!

Stylish Styles To install the styles just click the name, you'll then get taken to its page at userstyles.org. BetterVF - Generally makes VF look nicer, changes fonts, removes elements and colours.
VF_64 - Gives VF a Mario and Luigi look and feel! A good style for the nintendo nerds!
Darkness - Gives VF a dark, gothic feel!
LightVf - Makes VF white and green, a very bright style.
NoPics - Advanced search with a blank page - for efficiency!
