Designed for Australians who are living in Melbourne, or just Victoria in general; involved in the Goth scene and who have a passion for the music which the subculture revolves around, the Melbourne Goths Vampirefreaks cult aims to provide a cyber hangout where people can freely chat and discuss topics. Meetups are held monthly in the Melbourne CBD, with event details and plans posted on the Cult page. Additionally, Facebook allows for easy meetup communication and effective notification. These days, the Melbourne Goths cult mainly serves for meetup planning and discussion, and general chit chat, so if you live in or around Melbourne, you're curious about or into Goth culture, and you'd like to meet some fellow Goths and expand your social horizons, join in! Everyone starts somewhere, and you might even make some new friends. Anyone curious about or into Goth culture in Melbourne or greater Victoria is welcome, as an extension to presence of Goth culture in Australia. This cult is Membership By Aproval purely from member applications outside of Australia, or applications not in direct association with the cult or the state of Victoria; and any identification of Goth is welcome, from Trad Goth to Lit Goth and beyond... We are not here to solve your problems, nor to hear you immaturely complain, but if you have any real concerns do not hesitate to raise a voice.
- Do not spam/advertise UNRELATED WEBSITES, forums, etc. Affiliates and advertising of related events in Melbourne are welcomed (provided they are in the relevant thread).
- Bad/offensive behavior will NOT be tolerated. Offenders will be issued with a warning. If this continues, you will be banned.
3 STRIKE Policy for serious offenses:
1st strike is a warning
2nd srtike is a warning with a one week ban
3rd strike results in a permanent ban
Bad/offensive behavior can include:
+ Personal attacks against other members.
+ Attacking other member's beliefs or opinions (even if they differ from your own).
+ Expressions of racism or sexism, and excessive profanity.
