I'm a n00b coder, I want to base some of my code off of the code that you use in your layouts. Can I do that?
Once again, this is something that you're going to have to ask the designer. In most circumstances they'll say "okay" just as long as you don't copy and paste their code. If they say no, you can always request a tutorial.

I'm using an advanced stock layout. For some odd reason it is messing up. What do I do?
You can inbox the designer and ask them how to fix it, or, you can consult the tech support thread found here in Elite_Layouts. Most designers will ask for an in depth description of what is happening with the layout. What helps us out a lot in regards to figuring out what is wrong with your layout is looking at the code and seeing first hand what is screwing up (looking at the layout itself). If you want an immediate fix, and no back and forth in the support thread, take a screen shot of the issue, and the put your code through this converter (make sure that you select "Don't convert any quotes").

I want to be a designer, how do I go about that?
We're always accepting new designers. If you just want to be placed on the designers list without having a staff position, submit five graphics/layouts and you'll be instantaneously added. If you would like to be a designer with a staff position, you have to submit five layouts/graphics and then fill out the staff application found here.

I saw someone who has stolen one of your layouts. How do I report this?
You can either directly notify the designer, or you can tell the owner. Provide the username of the layout theif, or the cult name. They will be immediately placed in the layout theft section. Do us a favor, do not inbox/comment them about it until they're up on the list. A smart layout jocker will delete the layout and steal another one before there is a chance for confrontation.

I want to learn how to code. Will you guys teach me?
Most of the designers are incredibly busy, so, we will not be able to teach you HTML/CSS. However, there are quite a few coding tutorials. If you have something that you want to learn specifically, feel free to request one in the request thread.

I am very bad with English. I want to portray an idea to you guys, but my English is lacking.
That's simple. Our designers speak quite a few languages, and we're constantly striving to learn more. Miss/[take] speaks German, Spanish, Russian, English, and French (very little, but enough to get by). hypnoticpleasure speaks Spanish, Italian and English. If you speak another language, feel free to talk to us anyway. You might end up having to teach us how to learn another language.

One of the layouts that I'm using that is hosted by you guys is broken. Help?
Report this to the designer or to the owner. We'll remove it or fix it.

I made a request a while ago, how come no one has gotten it to me yet?
Our designers are just like you. We go to school, we work... we don't have that much time. Sometimes, life gets really hectic and it takes us a while to get the requests back to you guys. We apologize in advance if this happens to you. If you would like to see if your request has been taken by someone, underneath your request in italics it will say "Taken By Designer Name" or something to that affect. Some designers will message you to let you know that they are working on your layout/graphic.

I have a DarkStarlings/GoneGothic account, and I want a layout. When will you guys start offering that?
If you want to inbox Miss/[take] she will take those requests. Since it's not a request option through Elite, she might have you go through her website. Understand that some of her work isn't free. She charges very little, so, it's very affordable.

I absolutely love this cult, and I would love to support it. How do I do this?
We do offer staff positions for people that just want to invite. Feel free to apply for the position. If you don't want to do that, just having a banner on your profile or in your signature is a great way of helping us out.

I'm starting up my own website, and I would love to have one of your designers do that layout for me. How do I request this?
Miss/[take] is the only designer that knows how to code a full website. Feel free to contact her and ask her to do this for you. Depending on how much the work load is, she might ask for some form of payment. Consult her for pricing.

This is something that we do not understand, nor do we want used in our request threads, or in direct consultation with a designer. Be specific, be articulate. We provide a layout application so that way you can tell us what you want done with your layout without confusing the designers, or hurting their brains.

I requested an animated icon, and for some odd reason it won't upload to my icons. What's wrong?
The first question that we will ask is whether or not you have a free account. If you do, it's because the icon is too "big" for your account. If that is the case, message the designer and have them fix it for you. If you're premium we'll have to do something with the icon itself. If after the second try of uploading the icon and it doesn't work, we'd recommend trying it from another computer. That sometimes can be the issue.
