Description:
Welcome!

Cut_To_Heal is a cult focused on helping those with an SI addiction. The cult was created to give those people an outlet, somewhere they could go where they wouldn't be judged, where they could make friends and meet people who have been through what they're going through now. This cult is open to anyone. You don't have to have a SI addiction to join, it can be any addiction or problem. Even something as small as a homework problem is welcome here. Everyone is welcome here :D

- Inactive threads get deleted randomly. Feel free to make new threads though.
4. What is a journal thread?
- There aren't any journal threads yet, but feel free to create one. Simply title it "YOUR USERNAME - JOURNAL" and feel free to write whatever you want in there.

Questions::
1. Do you support cutting?
1. Absolutely not! I don't support it in any way, at one point I was a cutter, but I have conquered my addiction and want to help those that seek it
2. Will I be judged based on my problems?
2. Of course not! And if anyone judges you, they will be kicked from the cult.
3. Why did you start this cult?
3. I started this cult because I wanted to meet people like myself, and i know there are people out there that have problems and want help with them no matter what the problem may be, and i want to try and help them. And I want people to know that I am always here for them no matter what!
4. What can I do here?
4. In this cult you can play games, have discussions on random topics, meet new people and get the help and advice you may want or need. This is just a place to unwind from your day and have a good time.

  • Self Mutilation (also known as Self Injury, Self Abuse, Purposeful Mutilation, and others) is anything that can range from cutting yourself to stabbing yourself in the hand with a pencil repeatedly. There are many forms of it which include: burning, biting, cutting, hair pulling, breaking bones purposely, bruising, ice&salt [which some people count under burning] and more. People believe that this type of behavior is the act of someone slowly committing suicide [[many also say that it is a plea for help]]. What they don't realize is that this is a coping mechanism that people use to: Control their physical pain since they cannot handle their emotional. Handle their anger. Act on their Self Loathing. Feel "alive". And many more reasons. People from any race and age range may be a self abuser. Most commonly it is found in teenagers and girls. This type of negative behavior, if not treated in the early stages, can carry on for many more years and either lead to suicide [whether accidental or purposeful] or forced medical treatment. Self mutilation can be carried on way past adulthood and even into senior years if it is not taken care of. Some ways to get help on self injury [whether to quit or to help lessen or minimize it] would be to see a psychologist or psychiatrist, go to a mental institution, visit websites that help prevent suicides, call hotlines, talk to friends, read, write poetry and music, play an instrument, do yoga, go into a public place [if you cannot self harm in public]and talk to a trusted adult. There are many other alternatives that can still cause pain while not being dangerous as cutting is. For example: Holding icecubes in your hand{s}and squeezing. Snapping a rubberband against your wrist. Praciticing a very active sport [Many people do karate, tai chi, taekwondo, taebo and such as] Some also pour hot wax onto their body but this is also sometimes considered to be self abuse.
