WHO ARE WE? The Writers Cult is a safe haven of discussion for all avid fans of literature and its creation. Any man can write something. It is taught in our schools and by our peers, but a true writer is one who is capable of painting with a palette of words to invoke the deepest and most profound meanings amidst what is essentially scribbles on a sheet of paper. In other words, writers are artists with their own medium. Writing as an art form is a sophisticated and truly elegant form of expression that in all subtlety appears the most basic. Indeed there is need for entertainment, or mere writing will simply fade into a boring drone of synapses in your brain, communicating a collectively understood representation of graphite pressed against chemically modified dead trees. Really and truly, that is what language is, and everyone has some form of language, from the complicated Russian words, to the simple screams of a baby. In truth, it is not what you use for writing, but how you use it.
If you can identify yourself with this in some way, you are certainly welcome to join this cult.
Variety in an ever expanding art form is always wondrous, and contributions from thematic stories to the satire of comedy to a typed representation of emotions and views are always awaited.
