Ethrea is a forgotten land that disappeared centuries ago. It had many names in many languages and stories which are sometimes remembered but it exists in another realm now. The Gods molded it into their liking and keep watch over it from time to time to keep track of its progress. They are, so far, pleased with their work...
This realm has three major countries which are dominated by beings very similar to Humans but they have one thing which separates them from their Earth ancestors. Magic is, perhaps, their best trait. Blessed by the three major Gods, they were given the power over the elements. Each country was blessed by a different God and so they worship their own deity. However, like all religions, beliefs clash and war is the ultimate result.
An argument occurred one day, between the royals and the council, to decide which of the three Gods should be worshiped and praised in all countries: Terra (Goddess of the earth), Luna (Goddess of the moon), or Sol (God of the sun). Each country's representatives fought for their own God and their own beliefs but they never reached a conclusion and declared war on each other. Two years have passed and still they fight... but another God has taken interest.
This God found a clan which had no part in the war and gave them a blessing and a task. He told them to stop the war, to cease the fighting, and bring peace. Though he did not wish for worship, he gave them a power to aid them in their plight. Thus, they renamed their clan and are now known as Tempestas and with their own magic they seek to end the war.
