VampireMonarchyIVDescription: Long ago, several centuries in the past, a period of swords and chivalry rang loud across the vast provinces of the country called France. A great King had ruled, taking over the land and converting man to a form mysterious and unknown to earthen life - life which was adapted to limits and bounds. When this King rose in power, a new way of living followed his steps, and so came Vampirism. A great Kingdom spread across the land and men began to fall to the great power of his creations; his children who stalked the night, and who had stories of a warmer life. Though as a Sanguinarian, they would grow SO powerful in the dark ages of earth, that the very Angels in the heavens would take heed to their rapidity and descend to investigate the supposed cause and sure enough the Heavens had discovered Latriel Lucidous, a Fallen Archangel of immense power and respect among all other ascended beings. Though the whole situation had become treacherous, or seen as such, and as a result God had cast him from his graces to punish him in his ways of confiding in the great unholy brother to Michael; Lucifer. Lucifer's ideal plot to create an earth force to ward off Angels had been raw and unclear. That is, before Cain had intervened and altered the balance by killing his brother Abel. However, not too long after Latriel had been given rights to leading the Vampire race, Abel had returned to the living in secret working for the Vatican in search of Cain -a crucial source of Sanguinarian creation. Demons and Angels may have played in the creation of all unnatural life on earth but when word spread to Denmark -one of the Elvish natural residencies of the world- it's leaders rose up to join forces with Latriel in defense of the lands though only to shortly be defused by it's own Queen who had idolized a more simplistic life of beings that had next to no power and would senselessly fear and worship her. As time passed however, the Elves had regrouped and vanquished the ambitious rebellious forces of the Queen, and the heir to the lord of the Denmark Elves had taken his rightful seat once more. In doing so, he had sought to regain links with the Vampire King Latriel in France, but only to find death and destruction had SWEPT the lands once the Lycans stormed from the east in MASS herds and for some odd reason, backed by humans that were decked out in Vatican Templar armor and riding horseback. The forces were over-whelming and too sudden to fend off and when the tides had turned and the lycans managed to free themselves from the binds of mortal magicks they were too quelled by the Angels who had descended to vanquish immortality and push it away to allow for humanity to flourish. So the ages had passed, and perhaps a few immortals remained awake, but most had safely gone into hibernation, some more secretively hidden away than others. When they awoke they found themselves in a dark dreary old fashion casket, deep within the earth... and had been swimming in worms and insects that wanted to, but were not interested in devouring their body. Though some woke in tombs and others in walls and floors after being patched in between construction by a 'source' that would stay awake and keep watch of them through the time periods; and as such it is the year 2024. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ VampireMonarchyIV It is the year 2024, and the French have progressed substantially since medieval times. The world is now filled with materialistic desires and technology more than ever. Vehicles, Roads, Sky-Scrapers, and even some interesting robotics. Even space exploration, a thing of myths in the old days, had been a part of this new modern era. As Vampires and immortals of old awake, they would have to adapt to speech, attire, and ways of the new age. The structures were completely different, but it did not stop Victor from re-establishing his father Latriel's ways to the lands of France... though it seemed impossible from how the worlds population had increased 100 fold. As it were, several Covens were discovered in these years and powers that were harnessed in the shadow of man so to not alert other energies as to become a threat and desired enemy of another. Angels, Demons, Witches, Vampires, Lycans, Elves, and Changelings are now the "underground" races that must gain money somehow for there coven; unite under one roof or area; keep one another alive as though a pact has been made upon joining; and of course to remain in shadow to humanity. The world is big, but it is mortal now. The role of an immortal is to be subtle and wise of his or her decisions, for if he/she is not - certain death is even more likely than ever before. The weapons, armor, and mobility of the world is scary, even to a dark being of mystery and ancient bloodline(s). Every "leader" of a coven is known as a "Crown" by code but may certainly go by their own ranks. Remember - Vampires, Angels, Demons, Changelings, Lycans, Elves, and Witches. These are our only current choices!
