This is the largest and most active Tokio Hotel cult on vf. I hope you enjoy it. It was created on August 8, 2008, by Mishii and Genn, now run by Mishii and Kailey. We have game, fact, discussion, picture, and chat threads to satisfy all your Tokio Hotel needs and prepared, active staff that keeps this cult running. We are not the oldest Tokio Hotel cult, but we are the strongest, and are constantly updated with news about the band.

Tokio Hotel is made up of Bill Kaulitz, Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing, and Gustav Schafer. From Germany, they were founded in 2001 and their popularity has grown wildly. They scored four #1 singles and two #1 albums in their homeland, selling nearly 5 million CD's and DVD's there. After recording an unreleased demo CD under the band name Devilish, and having their contract with Sony BMG ended, they released their first album as Tokio Hotel, Schrei, in 2005. In 2007, they released their second German-language album, Zimmer 483. They released Scream in 2007 as well. They have done a remix of their song "Ready, Set, Go!" with AFI/Blaqk Audio. They are currently working on their new CD and have two DVDs out worldwide. Their new CD, Humanoid is Due October 2, 2009.

Bill Kaulitz (Lead Vocals)
Born: September 1, 1989

Bill Kaulitz was born in Leipzig, East Germany. He was born to Simone Kaulitz, a freelance tailor, and Jörg Kaulitz. When he and his twin brother Tom were seven, their parents divorced. Their mother remarried Gordon Trümper, a guitarist from the German rock band Fatun. Their stepfather inspired the twins to begin their music careers. He began writing song lyrics at the age of seven and with his brother at the age of nine years old. He has stated that his biggest musical influence is German pop artist Nena. Since the beginning of his career, he has done the voice for Arthur in the German version of the film, Arthur und die Minimoys.

Tom Kaulitz (Lead Guitar)
Born: September 1, 1989

Tom Kaulitz was born in Leipzig. He is ten minutes older than his twin brother, Bill Kaulitz. Tom currently uses Gibson guitars. He has stated his musical influences to be Aerosmith and German hip-hop such as Samy Deluxe.

Gustav Schäfer (Drums)
Born: September 8 1988

Gustav Schäfer was born in his hometown of Magdeburg. Gustav has been playing the drums since he was six. He has one older sister. His musical influences include Metallica, Joe Cocker, and Rod Stewart.

Georg Listing (Bass Guitar)
Born March 31 1987

Georg Listing began playing bass when he was twelve and he currently uses a Sandberg bass He has said that his playing style was heavily influenced by Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. His musical influences also include Die Ärzte and Oasis. His hometown is Magdeburg.
