History TVXQ is the acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (TVfXQ), the Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. They are to be in different genes such as in dance, a cappella, acting, and pop with an R&B vibe.
In Korea, they are known as Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSG or DBSK) while in Japanese the group's name is Tohoshinki (THSK). Although their origin is Korean, they simply have everything scripted as "TVXQ". (Chinese counterpart of their name) Their name translates to "Rising Gods of the East"
They first debuted on December 26, 2003 during a BoA and Britney Spears showcase. They debuted with their first single 'Hug'.
They then established their offical fan club entitled 'Cassiopeia' because it has 5 stars and TVXQ are made up of 5 members.
On April 27 2005, they released their first Japanese single 'Stay With Me Tonight' and after that released other singles in Japan as well.
With their popularity they had their 'first Asia Tour Concert' with a release of their first live album and a live DVD.
On September 29, 2006 they released their 3rd album in Korea entitled 'O'-?.?.?.
In 2007, they had 'the 2nd Asia Tour' which released a CD and DVD. So it was offical TVXQ have really gained their popularity all over Asia.
In January of 2008, they released their newest Japanese album 'T' which was entered in the Top 20 of the United World Chart.
Now today there are many new released that we should look forward to in the future.
