Slytherin is one of the four Houses at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and is traditionally home to students that tend to be ambitious, cunning, and achievement-oriented. This means that Slytherins tend to hesitate before acting, so as to weigh all possible outcomes of a decision (and how these outcomes would personally impact them).

Professor Shari Snape

Recently Shari decided to step down from her position as Head of the Slytherin House. She has been with us for years, guiding our house for better or worse, always doing her best to motivate the Serpents to win.

Slytherin won't be the same without her, but we're happy to say she will remain in Hogwarts as Deputy Headmistress.
