"Noise to the world" by:Charity Fease Ch.1 'Last day of school surprise'... It was the last day of my eighth grade school year. My mother always gets me a present for the last day of school. The year before, she had gotten me my first bass guitar and every year it gets better and better. I was wondering what it would be this year. I was anticipating for the school day to end! Finally, it was over, I said good bye to all my teachers and fellow students and wished them all a wonderful summer. Then, I ran down the eighth grade hallway, up past the main office and out the front doors. I was so excited to finally be out of that school for good and so excited about my present! On the way to my mom's car, so many things were running through my head of what it could be. Finally, I was at my mom's car. I jumped in and panting for breath asked her, "Where is it?!" "Where is what?", she asked. "Don't play with my emotions, mom. You know exactly what I'm talking about." My mom laughed, I was getting irritated, I wanted to know so badly! "It's at home", she answered, finally.... Ch.2 'Home, finally'... So, we finally made it home. I jumped out of the car and raced inside. Then, I stuck my head out of the door and politely asked my mom where the present might be. "Ask your sister", she answered. I ran into my sister's room and panting for breath asked her, "Where is it?". "Where is what?" she replied. "Don't start with me, where is 'it'?", I said. She laughed. "Don't make me raid your room to find it" I said."HA! Look on the coffee table" she replied. I did as she said. I was suddenly filled with such joy! I found a ticket to the Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, and Relient K concert! I let out a scream or two. I had been wanting so badly to go to that concert, I just didn't have the $money$. I was so happy. I definatly wasn't expecting this. So, I ran back out to my mom who was still outside and she had a big smile on her face as soon as she seen the big smile on mine. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you" I hugged her and thanked her a few more times. Then she said, "Ummm, I accidently got 4 tickets, one for you, your sister, your brother and one extra, so, I guess you have to invite a friend. "Eeeeek!!" Yay! I was so excited, I ran inside to call my best friend, Drea to tell her she was going to the Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, and Relient K concert with me! She was just as excited as I was. We were sure that this was gonna be awesome!!!! Ch.3 'Planning'... The concert was exactly one week away, so, we started planning immediatly. We made sure we had all the lyrics known so we could rock our faces off singing the lyrics, had Simple Plan beaded bracelets to match the band's, had something great to wear, had a place to stay the night in Atlanta, and had spending $money$. That week seemed like it went by so slow while we were waiting for Friday May 27th to get there. Finally, it was Thursday, the day before the concert. Drea stayed the night at my house that night so we could get ready together the next day. We were so excited!!!! Ch.4 'Concert Day!!'... When I woke up on Friday morning, I automatically had a huge smile on my face. I was so excited. I started to wake Drea up and then I looked at the clock and realized it was only 5:16am. I didn't dare wake Drea up that early, so, I tried to go back to sleep. But, I couldn't, I kept thinking of how much fun that night would be! So, I layed in bed untill Drea woke up around 7:00am. So, we both layed in bed for a while dicussing together how much fun we're gonna have. We finally rolled out of bed around 8:00am. We went around the house and woke up my brother, Curtis, my sister, Faith, and my mom, Linda. My sister was just as excited as Drea and I were. It was hard to get my broter out of bed, but we rolled him onto the floor, and he finally woke up. The concert started at 7:00pm and we needed to be in Atlanta by 3:00pm because we were staying the night at my other sister, Hope's house that night and we have to go drop my mom off there before we go to the concert. My brother was gonna drive us from Hope's house to the concert. Yeah, we were all scared about that. Anyway, since it takes 3 hours to get to Atlanta from Augusta, we had to leave by 12:00pm. So, we only had 4 hours to get ready. So, Drea and I ate breakfast, took showers, and started getting ready. We were so excited! We were practicing our singing for the concert while we were getting ready, we had Simple Plan playing the whole time. It was about 11:30am when we realized, none of us had any eyeliner!!! We can't go to a Simple Plan concert without any eyeliner! I mean, if David's gets wear eyeliner, we have to! So, my mom went to the store and got us some eyeliner and we called her an angel. So, we did our eyeliner beautifully! By 11:55am we were all ready to leave, Drea and I were looking hhhot! So, a few mins later, we packed the car and we were on our way!!!!! Ch.5 'Atlanta'... So, on the way to Atlanta, Drea and I did everything we could think of to not get bored. We played I spy, we played cards, we drew SP, GC, and RK tatoos on each other, and we even read a book, yeah, we were bored! We finally made it to Atlanta and met Hope at her work. She works at a greek resturant called Taverna Plaka. So, since we were there already, I suggested that we go ahead and eat, so, we did:).It was about 5:30pm by the time we got back to Hope's house. Of course all of us girls ran to the bathroom to make sure we still looked good, and we did:) But, you can never look too good, so, we did a little freshing up on the make up and hair. It was about 6:00pm by the time we were done. I wanted to leave then because I knew that Relient K was the opening band and I wanted to see their full performance. So, we searched and searched for the Hi Fi Amphitheatre for about 40 mins and we finally found it..... Ch.6 'CONCERT!!'... We got to the gates at about 6:45pm and we had pit section tickets, so we went up to the pit! I was so excited! I then seen Matthew T. from RK and I was psyched! We rocked out with them for about 20-25 mins then they went off stage. Then some people came and got RK's equipment off stage and started putting Simple Plan's on stage. Faith, Drea, and I were jumping up and down by this time. My brother called us losers and we called him a hater. Finally, the lights went dim, I knew my boys were about to come out..... Ch.7 'Simple Plan'... Then, I seen the most beautiful thing I've ever seen before walk out on stage. It was David Desrosiers! I screamed at the top of my lungs for about 5 mins untill the whole band was on stage. Then, I took a breath and started screaming again. A feeling of instant joy rushed through my body as they started playing thier music. Curtis, Faith, Drea, and I rocked our faces off the whole time they were up there. The great thing about Simple Plan concerts is that you don't just feel like you're at a concert, you feel like you're hanging out with your friends because they will talk to you. It was awesome! Then, after a while, they started throwing things to the audience. Faith and Curtis both caught one of Pierre's water bottles and Drea caught one of David's picks. I was trying so hard the whole time to catch something, anything! When they said they had one more song to play and I was still empty handed, I was really upset because everyone that came with me had something, but I had nothing. So, a few seconds before the song was going off, I asked my brother if I could get on his shoulders so maybe they'd throw something my way. At first he was like, "No, I'm not putting you on my shoulders, what if you fall?". Then, Faith was like, "Awe, come one, put her on your shoulders, everyone has something but her." Curtis grumbled and finally agreed. So, I got on his shoulders and then he, Faith, Drea, and I started screaming at the total top of our lungs to try to get one of them to look our way. Then, I noticed Chuck get up from his drums and walk to the front of the stage. He threw one of his sticks to the left of the crowd. Then, he looked toward the front and he looked at me. I started yelling, "Please, can I have a stick?!" He smiled and acted like he was about to throw it a different way, then laughed and then he drew his arm back to throw it my way. Then, he threw it! I noticed right away that it was coming towards my face, and at an extremely fast speed. I reached my arms out to catch it, but it was going so fast it went straight past my hands and then, POW!!! Right in the middle of my fore head.......
Ch.8 'Waking up'... The next thing I can remember is; I woke up to someone rubbing my face. At first everything was blurry and I could'nt remember anything. I didn't see who was rubbing my face, I wasn't really paying attention. Then I heard a soft, sweet sounding voice of a guy asking me if I was alright. I rubbed my eyes, blinked a few times and I finally realized who it was. I rubbed my eyes again to make sure... It was David Desrosiers! I jumped up really quick and then got light headed and started to fall back down, then he caught me. I remember my head hurting really bad, but I asked David, "What happened? Where is Faith and Curtis and Drea?" Then he told me, "It's okay, they're all in the back with a doctor. He's about to come make sure you're okay." Then, David helped me sit up and then I looked up and seen the whole band, Simple Plan, standing right there in front of me, all eyes on me! Then David said to me, "As far as what happened, you can ask good ol' Chuck about that." I looked at Chuck and he had a really guilty look on his face, and at that time I remembered what happend. At first I laughed, then my head hurt more. Then Chuck said, "I'm really, really sorry about that. Are you okay?" Then I said, "Yeah, I'm perfectly fine. I can't tell you how many times I've had drumsticks thrown at my head before. It happens all the time." Everyone laughed at him and he laughed a little under his breath. Then, Curtis, Faith, and Drea came in and Drea ran up to me and hugged me and asked if I was okay. Then I whispered in her ear, "Of course I am, I just woke up to David Desrosiers rubbing my face!", she laughed. Then the dostor guy came over to me. He started using his little pen thingy and moving to the left and right in front of my face, he told me to keep my eyes on it. Then, he asked how many fingers he was holding up. Then he told me I was just fine except for a slight bump on my forehead from where the stick hit me. I told him thank you then he went back to talk to my brother and sister.... Ch.9 'Hanging with the band'... Drea and I stayed and hung out a while with the band. We talked about everything! We talked about music, school, food, animals, everything! I was having so much fun! I actually forgot that I was hanging out with a famous band, it was like I was hanging out with my friends. They were just like normal people. Except at times, David would say and do some really goofy things and Chuck would be like, "David, stop acting like a child." And David would be like, "Shut up, Loser." David was so funny. David and I had a few personal conversations while Drea and the rest of the band would talk. We would talk about his ex g/f's and my ex b/f's, we talked about our parents, mostly about our 'fathers', and we just talked about life. I asked him how he enjoys baing in a band. He told me, "Well, it's fun most of the time. I try my best to keep everyone from being upset or bored by pulling pranks on them, but, they don't always appreciate that." Then, he asked me about my life...I told him that I try to have fun in life, but sometimes I end up just getting into trouble..."Well, that's how it can be sometimes." He said...Well, after a while, Faith and Curtis came back over and we all hung out for a while. While we were all talking, I didn't even notice that Good Charlotte was onstage, playing their concert. Then I said out loud, "You guys, we're missing Good Charlotte!" Then David was like, "Oh, I'm sorry. You can go out there if you want, I was just having fun talking to you, I didn't even think about that." Then I realized, I didn't want to go watch Good CHarlotte right then. I was having a wonderful time with these guys. Plus, I'd be stupid to pass this oppertunity up! I definatly stayed. We hung out and had so much fun! David and I talked the most, we kept making everyone laugh. David kept making me laugh!! A few minutes later I heard Joel Madden of GC say that they were about to play the last song. At that moment, my heart dropped. I was like, "Oh, no. We're about to have to leave!" Then David was like, "No, not just yet...". "What ya talking 'bout Davey?", I said. "Well, since you missed GC's concert, I guess we just have to let you guys meet them, too." "SHIBBY!!!", Drea and I screamed!! A few minutes later, the guys of GC came backstage. They first of all asked how I was doing. I told them I was just fine. Then Benji looked at Chuck and said, "By the way, good job buddy. Are you trying to kill every one of you're fans?" Everyone laughed, except for Chuck. Well, we all hung out for like 2 hours and it was the most fun I'd ever had. We ate, played truth or dare and spin the bottle. It was the strangest thing, every time David would spin the bottle, it'd land on me...Strange, but very much enjoyed:D!!!! Ch. 10 'It's hard saying good bye'... Well, after a while of having the time of my life with my 2 fav bands, this guy, Patrick (a friend of SP's or something) came in and told them they had to get on the road because they had to be in Florida the next day. I almost shed a tear, but I didn't wanna look like a baby in front of the guys. It was so hard to say good bye. Especially to David. I mean, it seemed like I knew David for a long time! It was like trying to sat good bye forever to a really good friend. I really feel like David and I connected. I have never been able to talk to a guy the way I talked to him. He is an awesome guy! Well, we all managed to say our good byes. David actually asked me for my email addy, home addy, and phone number. I was really surprised! Well, David and I hugged and he kissed me on my fore head a few times and said he would definatly miss me. Then while David had me in his arms, I turned to Chuck and said, "Thank you so much for knocking me out with your drumstick, that was the best gift anyone has ever given me." "Don't mention it." He said. He hugged me and we laughed. I noticed David looked sad. I went back over to him and asked him what was wrong, and he said the same exact things I was thinking about him. Like how it seemed like he knew me for a long time and he felt that we automatically connected. "Well, Chuck knocking me out with that drumstick was the best thing that ever happened to me! I mean, I got to meet you, finally. This has been the best day of my entire life! Of course I'll have a knot the size of texas on my forehead by tomorrow morning, and I will have a constant migrane for the next week, but it'll be worth it and worth much more, because I got to meet you. I've never felt this way about anyone, especially this quickly." He smiled really big, hugged me again, kissed me on my forehead, and whispered in my ear, I love you Charity. I didn't think I heard him right so I asked him what he said, he repeated hiself, and I did hear right...I stood in awe and stared into his eyes. "I'm sorry. I should'nt have.........(I interrupted him)..."No, it's okay. I feel the same way too. I mean, I've never felt this way before, I was thinking the same thing, but, I didn't dare say it.But, I do feel the same way."I said. "Wow, this is really awkward, what do we do?" he said. "Well, I don't think there is anything we can do..., I said. He looked down in dissapointment. "We can still talk to each other, right?" he said..."Of course, we'll talk all the time! With email, instant messenger, mail, the plain telephone, we'll find a way to chat:)" He smiled and hugged me again. "I'm really gonna miss you Char Bear." he said...I'm gonna miss you too!" I said. We stood for a moment just holding each other and looking in each other's eyes, not even noticing everyone else was staring at us...We looked at them all and that guy Patrick was like, "David, it's time to go, everyone else in on the bus." He once again hugged me, but this time he hugged me tight, I hugged him tight too, then he kissed me on my forehead again."I'll call you as soon as I can and I'll write to you all the time." he said. "Same here." I said...David and Patrick started walking away, David looking back almost every 5 seconds...Then, a tear streamed down my cheek. Then, Drea, Faith, and Curtis walked over to me. Faith and Drea hugged me. "What all went on between you two?" Faith asked. I blinked my tears away and whiped my cheek. "Lets just say, I finally found someone who understands me, and now I feel like I've lost him..." Then, out of no where, David pops back up and kissed me. A real kiss! At that moment, I felt the most joy I'd ever felt. So much joy, yet so much pain for I knew he was soon to be gone and know one knew what would happen from there...Then, he slowely ended the kiss and whispered to me, "You'll never lose me, you've got me hooked for life!" I smiled big and started a whole nother kiss. I got so lost in the moment, it was like no one else was there, like David and I were the only ones, the only ones in the world. I'd never felt that way before, that was the happiest moment of my life. Then, I slowely ended that kiss. "Well, I guess ya have to go now:(..." I said. "Yeah, guess so:(" he said. "Good bye" I said. "No, not goodbye. See ya later." he said. "Oh, okay, see ya later" I said.... Then, he held each other for a moment, then he pecked me on the lips, and turned and walked away...For good this time. Then, we left and went back to my sister's house..... Ch.11 'Keeping in touch'... We left early the next morning to go home... We decided not to tell mom about the 'going ons' of David and I. The whole way home, I didn't say a word. I could only think about David. God, I missed him so much. I felt so heart broken, I kept thinking of how I may never get to see him again...Well, we got home and I went to my room to sleep. A few minutes later, Drea came in shook me and said...."Guess who's on the phone." "Seriously?"I said.."Yes!" she said...I pretty much ran to the phone, caught my breath, picked up the phone and said hello. "Hey!", yep, it was David!! "Hey, how are you?" I said. "FIne, I guess. I miss ya!" he said. "I really miss you too!" I said. "So, how long have you been home?" he asked. "Oh, only a few minutes. I'm really glad you called, I didn't think you would have the time right away." I said. "Of course I have the time to call you!" he said.....We talked for about 3 hours, we talked aboutr everything we didn't get to talk about the night before. It was so amazing! I felt like I knew so much about him, but I'd only knew him for 2 days. He saidhe felt the same way. Well, after the 3 hours of talking, he had to go get ready for that night's concert. So, he said he'd call me after the show. He did and we talked untill the sun came up...We did that for a few nights. Then after their Noise To The World tour was over, we talked on the phone all day! I can't remember what all we talked about, but, there was never a dull or silent moment....Every since then, we have kept in touch. We have talked every day, he's always managed to find the time to call or email me. He's my best friend and I can talk to him about anything and he talks to me about everything! He's been trying to convince thier touring agent to let them come back to GA, and I hope it happens, and soon. I miss him so much, and he says he misses me too. So, I can't wait untill I get to see him again! He said he's gonna get my family and friends free tickets and backstage passes. I can't wait.... Ch. 12 'All for Chuck'... Well, chapter 12 is all for Chuck, yep, the last chapter, a whole chapter for him! In this chapter, I will be expressing my extended gratitude for Chuck and his horrible aim. Chuck, good buddy, good pal; I had a knot the size of texas on my forehead for a week and undieing migranes for 2. You have horrible aim, and I'm very happy about that! Thank you, you'll never know how happy you've made me! You have given me several more great friends, and I'm very grateful! Thank you, but don't make knocking chicks out with drumsticks a regular thing. You might get a lawsuit on your hands:) Your band rocks and anyone who doesn't get to see you guys live at least one time in thier life, will have a sad, boreing, and pathetic life:D..... ***A MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR::: Hello readers, yes, I know you loved my story, thank you:D Sadly, this is not a true story, that's why it's called a 'fan fiction'. Chapter1: IN MY WORLD-I'm still sleeping before the damn alarm clock rings.A few seconds later,my mum opened the door and woke me up.I'm forced to wake up early cuz Ally's coming soon to pick me n Jen.My car broke down yesterday and it's still in the workshop now.Dad's in LA for another week or else he could've give me a ride by then. I changed,put on some make-up,took my bagpack and go straight down the stairs.After I took an apple and Ally's honking already.Then we go to Jen's house.Ally stopped n Jen jumped into the car.Ally start driving again after she pressed the 'PLAY' button and 'ADDICTED's on.>>> Ally:Hey,Roxy,are you goin to Simple Plan's show tomorrow night? Roxy:Duh.I would never miss it!Anyway,Jen's comin' too,right? Jen:Yeah,but what am I supposed to wear?(freaking out)>Roxy:Chill.Just wear anything you want.Jen:I'm not going to the show looking like this!(pointing at her hair)> Ally:Calm down,Jen.You have beautiful hair.Roxy n I will help u out tomorrow,ok? � Wake up � Kamron says as she jerks my shoulder back and forth. � What � I answered in a croaky voice. � I have a surprise for you � she said happily. I could here the smile in her voice. She took off my covers. �Get up � she said again. � Unless you have the one and only David Desrosiers in a Zebra- printed box leave me alone � I said rudely. I pulled the covers over my head. � Does that include a black ribbon � I heard someone say. The voice sounded just like David. � Yes it- Hold up � I said taking the covers off of my head. I sat up and realized that the person standing at the foot of my bed was David Desrosiers from Simple Plan!!!! So many thing where running through my head! I just sat there in aw. Looking from what I could see of his legs up he was wearing dark blue jeans and a black tank top that said �Would I lie?� on it. Getting to his face his black hair was messy and he looked tired. I got up and introduced myself. � Hi, I- I- I�m Chelsey � I studderd � Hey, I�m David � he said with a smile. He sounded as nervous as I did. About 30 seconds later I realized that I was staring in each other�s eyes. I totally got lost in his beautiful hazel � green eyes. I turned to Kamron to break our eye contact. � Kamron. Do you know where the rest of the guys are � I asked her trying to get her out of the room. � Probably downloading really bad things � David said still looking at me. � THEY ARE WHAT � I said turning back at David. � I�ll go check on them � Kamron said leaving the room. � I have to get dressed � I said. � Ok � David said not moving. � Alone � I said looking at him funny. � Oh! Right! Sorry! � He said as he turned around and closed the door. 5 minuets later I came out wearing black and white converses, blue jeans, and a Simple Plan T-shirt. Walking in the computer room, I tripped over the rug and fell to my knees. � Are you ok � I heard someone say. I looked up to see Pierre�s smiling face. � Ya, I�m fine. Thanks for asking � I said getting up. � Really fine � I herd Seb murmured. � What did you just say? � I asked looking over Pierre�s shoulder. � Oh! Nothing! I said nothing � He answered � Well, I got to get my breakfast � I said turning and leaving. As I left I herd Pierre say � Is it just me, or is she really hot � � It�s not you she is � Seb answered. As I walked in the kitchen I saw David and Kamron sitting at the table talking. � Oh! We where just talking about you � Kamron said with an evil smile. � Good things � David chimed in. I reached for the bananas in the crystal bowl on the counter. � Oh! Banana! Grab me one! � David said. I grabbed another one and tossed it to him. � God these are like�.. Steroid bananas�. � I know that�s because food here is crap � Kamron said. � Tell me about it! Bananas in Canada are like wieners compared to these! � David said observing his banana. � Hey! Are you gonna eat it or not? � I said looking at him. � Ya � He said with a smile. Just then Pierre, Chuck, Seb, and Jeff ran in the room. � I�m bored � Seb said sleepily. � Um �� we could go to the mall � I suggested. � Great idea!!! � Kamron said with a smile. We all got our shoes back on and headed out the door. � Hey Chelsey? Should we wear sweatshirts? � Pierre asked � Ya. That probably a good idea � I said grabbing my Role Model hoodie. As I got in the car I realized that I had the same hoodie on as Chuck!! � Nice sweatshirt � Chuck said sarcastically. � Oh great �I said looking at my sweatshirt then his � You go change � �No way! This is the only one that I brought,� he answered �Here. Wear mine� David said handing me his sweatshirt. �You don�t have to do that! I�ll just go get my pink sweatshirt and look like a dork,� I said giving it back to him.�Ok there is one thing I don�t want you to be seen wearing in public.
