Three and a half centuries ago, a group of scientists created a cure for HIV/AIDS, around the same time another group created the cure for cancer. For a while the two serums seemed to have little to no negative effects. The animal testing had stopped once the cure had been discovered. There were a large number of volunteers for both vaccines. Very few of them cared a bit about the side effects. Barely a year after the cures went out, a deadly side effect occurred. Patients began to die, and those that didn�t were mutated beyond human recognition.

Patients of one serum began to appear to die, and come back to life a day or two later. However, when they were aware again, their hearts did not beat, and they felt a strange sensation. They were hungry but only wanted to drink blood. Their canine teeth grew into hollow fangs and they started attacking others and drained them of blood. Those that were bitten and survived soon experienced a similar transformation.

Patients of the other serum began to grow hair everywhere and were moody. Soon their teeth became jagged and they acted like animals, beasts. They killed people, and those who survived attacks began to undergo a similar transformation.

Thus vampires and werewolves came into existence. The human world was devastated and sent into a state of panic and terror. Families who had once thanked the doctors that created these cures, now cursed them. For the vampires and werewolves spread like a plague. The people tried everything to hinder the growth of the creatures. But their efforts were all but wasted. The vampires and werewolves were smart, strong and fast.

The world began to despair. And just when the world seemed like it was coming to an end, a group of brave survivors had managed to kill a vampire and decided they would drink it�s blood. People scorned them, called them crazy and deranged among other things. Fifty years after the first vampire, Slayers came to be. Having drank the blood of the creature. They inherited some of it�s speed and strength. Some of them died, their bodies unable to cope with the blood. Humans now stood a fighting chance. However, they were still in need of dire help.

A world not unlike Earth existed in another dimension. A connection had been recently formed. A portal connected the two worlds now. The portal had been connected by powerful dragons and magicians alike. They were attempting to go into the future, what they did not realize is that they were looking into a future that was not theirs. They saw a completely different world, a world of ruin and gloom. They observed for a long time, and could not recognize a single place. They noticed that two creatures were cause of the destruction of the planet, and that there was a small group of beings who were trying to save themselves and possibly the future and were losing.

Once they felt they had learned enough to be able to help they started to send select people to help. Those who were adept in magic and strength were to go first. 100 years after the first slayer came the first Dragon and Fallen stepped onto Earth. Their names were Calypto and Elezar. And soon after other creatures began to come through the portal and play their part in the recreation or destruction of the world.

8 - Graphic sex? Torture scene? It's allowed, but only if both role players are comfortable with it. If asked to stop, you stop!

9 - This is a mature cult. If you can't handle it or will be immature, leave.

10 - Please try not to use Anime pictures or cartoons.

11 - Please don't use your own picture for your character.

12 - Use the Roleplay Request thread to find roleplay partners, do not interrupt an already in-progress roleplay.

Upon breaking any of these rules more than three times, you may be deleted from the cult under the discretion of Staff.
