Welcome to the Legion of Darkness.

At an unremarkable time in the history of the universe, man was created. Man could not live solitary, and woman was made to accompany him. To be his, and his alone. Her name was Lilith, and his was Adam. Adam was a weak but immortal creature, and so was Lilith. On the night of their wedding(bear in mind a wedding isn't a ceremony, it's an arrangement, and the only arrangement that could be made then, was for them to be together), Adam tried to force Lilith beneath him. Seeing as they were both made from the earth, Lilith refused and ran away.
She met a demon upon her path and became his lover. Quickly, she was corrupted by the evil and became a great abomination, but she could not be this demon's wife. Still married to Adam, three angels came to her bring her back to him. Seeing her with Lucifer, the angels returned empty handed, much to the disappointment of Yahweh.
Angered, Yahweh and Lucifer met on the Earth, between their two worlds. Yahweh could not destroy Lilith as she had become too powerful and he feared Lucifer and Lilith, together could overthrow him and Heaven. Lilith, much to her dismay, was still property of Adam and she was banished to the Earth. Not allowed to be with her love, she cursed the human race to kill a thousand a day and keep their souls. So began, the Legion of Darkness.
But, as demons will do, Lilith eventually lost interest in the Legion. The presence of the Angels has diminished, and the curse of infertility upon Legion members has been broken. Now, a vampire named Nathaniel holds the power, his age rivaled by none other than the Angels.

2). Staff's word is final.

3). You're allowed to roleplay in two threads at at time after being claimed. You may purchase the privilege to post in more than one thread.

4). Do not contact staff outside the cult with cult matters, unless you have their permission. We have a questions thread for a reason.

5). Minimum of 70 words per roleplay. Sky is the limit.

6). Drama must end quickly. If you trail a million people into it and/or drag it out more than necessary, the punishment will be greater.

The set-up is simple. You provide a name and gender. This is your character and it's human. Somehow, it stumbles far too close to the land where the Legion members live. Why it's there is completely up to you. Maybe it was seeking a new, forbidden life or maybe it just got lost. Anyway, cross that invisible line and you're snatched from your mortal life.
Before you know it, you've been made into one of the five most popular species of creatures that live in this part of the world.

Your new life begins now. LegionofDarkness is a roleplay cult with a simple concept and a massive history. If you love detailed, creative ideas and stories, get involved.

Basically, your character is a human and you're killed. Claimed by an Elder or a high ranking member. You become a member of the Legion.
Leave your pre-made characters for other cults. We're not going to let you have your hybrid monstrosity here.

Previous LoD members may have their characters returning to the Legion, or you may be a human.
To be a human within the Legion, you must request the guardianship of a Legion member(that means you need to know someone who is already a member). Or you're going to get killed, 'kay?

Two important things you have to do before you roleplay:
- Introduce yourself in [ this ] thread.
- Then introduce your character in [ this ] thread.

Now. You wait to be claimed. You cannot pick your own species, but you can request a species for your second character, which you buy in the cult with Czernz.
Bored waiting? Introduce yourself and talk in the Chat thread. We bite.
You could also claim Czernz. The currency of the Legion. Do things for the cult, you get rewards.
Once you're claimed, you are given your species. You're not human any longer. You are either now a Lycan, Vampire, Shapeshifter, Mage or a Cubi. You belong to a new family. Your human past has to be forgotten. You have a new purpose and at the same time, nothing has changed. You are encouraged to live how you like and we have little rules in the Legion. No killing. That's important.
As a new member, you are allowed to post in the Main District and the District of your own species. To travel to different districts, you need a permit. Which you can purchase after raising enough Czernz.

Be sure to follow the guidelines set by the Elder of whatever species you are claimed to, and if you need assistance, they'll be sure to provide it. Good luck.
