Welcome to the thirteenth laboratory of a high-security, top-secret and well hidden military research base. You can forget about all those military ranks, rules and protocols; 'research' is what we're interested in here and we will do anything to obtain data. And let's be honest, which well-starched government official is going to be brave enough to ask people like us to stop?
Genetic modification. That's our flavour. And I don't mean growing large tomatoes or anything so stupid I mean people. We take criminals, volunteers or our own manufactured children and turn them into something interesting. Everyone reacts differently to the vaccination or the radiation so we have all sorts of labrats here, all of them needing to be strictly controlled. We watch them, take notes, step in when needed.

Your status no longer matters once inside this facility, sweetie, whether you're a volunteer, a criminal or one of our darling creations. Once here you are all simply labrats under our care. Upon arrival you will be sorted into one of four sectors based on your abilities, each one being equipped to cater to your needs. Each of you will fall into one of the following categories:
Regenerators, Psychics, Manipulators or Mutants.
We will be performing experiments on you on a regular basis to learn more about your abilities, to enhance and improve then, sometimes even grant you more of them. You will under-go various challenges and training exercises daily to help you grow accustomed to your abilities, to master them and allow us to see what you can do. As my colleague said; we watch, take notes and intervene when necessary.
There are rules in place for a reason, most of them strict; anyone who breaks them will suffer the consequences. But surely you would be expecting that much, right sweetie? You're hardly here on holiday. Behave yourself and I'm sure you'll get along just fine. ~Dr. Vayne
