In the year 2211, the unthinkable happened. Doomsayers called it Revelations. Politicians called it the breakdown of negotiations between the nations of the world. Soldiers called it World War III. Citizens called it the Apocalypse. It started with Mecca. It spread to the Vatican. It ended in Washington, D.C. Nuclear war had erupted, devastating the world and all its inhabitants. 75% of the population was eradicated. Those who remain are hardly human anymore. In the desolate wasteland that was once our lush, green planet, you make your stand.
