Not so long ago a boy named Harry Potter & an evil tyrant named Voldemort waged the biggest war in in wizard history. In a climactic dual between good and evil to decide the fate of the world, the two sides fought with all their abilities. With casualties on both sides the war seemed to sway in favor of the forces of evil. Just when Voldemort seemed to have victory in his hands the young boy, thought dead, came back with full fury. Once the smoke cleared and the dust settled good had once again prevailed. And with Voldemort's death, the rebuilding began. It took years for the wizarding world to recover. While the muggles went about their lives unknowing to the fate that had almost befallen them, the magical world was on its way to true recovery. The Ministry of Magic had a complete over hall. The traitors were weeded out and new wizards and witches filled their places ready to start anew. Hogwarts was reopened the halls were flooded with the sound of laughter and knowledge once again. Minerva McGonagall lead the school in its earlier years of recovery and saw it through until her retirement. Those who fought in the great war have sense left the school and left the future in the hands of their children. While some have returned as teachers, such as Professor Longbottom, others have been busy starting families and grooming the new generation of great wizards and witches. With each new year there is new hope. Among the many faces that scatter about the school there are a select few who will go on to do great things. They are their own generation of magic and they will make their own destinies. With peace restored the students can finally have a chance to learn and will be trained for future battles. For as we know, history has a way of repeating itself. Each student has the potential to be great and, guided by the best professors, who each bring their own special qualities to the prestigious school, the future looks as bright as ever.
