Its dense population boasts a vast range of cultures, and exerts influence over global commerce, finance, fashion, research, art, and more. People have flocked to this flourishing city, attracted by not only job opportunities, but the allure of the lifestyle it has to offer. However, the underworld of Dalitica has become a powerful force, with four prominent gangs making their presence known. Their increasing power led to increasing tension and strife, with outbreaks of violence becoming increasingly frequent as the gangs struggle for control over the city.Beneath the city's bright lights and bustling life hides a dark secret. It seems these days everyone comes to Dalitica to make it big; but fame and fortune always have a price. Within the city, a secret war has begun--a war between the four most powerful gangs. Crime rates are up and the overworked police force can hardly keep up as the dangerous criminals multiply daily. Corruption runs deep within Dalitica, and looks can be very deceiving. Criminals are not always the suspicious looking kids in baggy jeans--more often than not they come as lawyers, teachers and even police officers. More often than not the harmless ones are the people you have to watch out for. In a city on the brink of being thrown into complete anarchy and chaos, can you make it out alive? Will you stand and fight loyally with your new found "family", or will you be just another blood smear on the pavement?
The GangsWolves The north side of Dalitica is controlled by the Wolves, who are known for being the most honest and righteous out of all the gangs. They tend to avoid unnecessary confrontations, and would rather keep violence to a minimum. The forceful means some of the other groups use in order to secure territory are not approved by the Wolf gang. Locked in an ongoing feud for territory, they are now being forced to defend against the onslaught of attacks from the Vipers. Tigers The Tiger gang dominates the east side of the city, electing to declare themselves a neutral force in most situations. However, they do have an alliance with the Wolves established, and the two groups will frequently aid each other in times of conflict. The Tigers are observant and organized, aware of everything that goes on in the city, although they have been known to venture into enemy territory. They have made numerous connections in order to further their plans, and are known for being money-orientated. Vipers The Vipers occupy the city's south, and are the most notorious of all the gangs. They are renowned for being manipulative, cunning, and very malicious, stopping at nothing to get what they want. These people have no qualms about taking advantage of others, and gained their territory by forcing out and eradicating the gang which used to occupy the area. With their sights set on the north section of the city, the Vipers have every intention of wiping out the Wolves. Dragons The Dragons have taken over the western part of Dalitica City. Like the Tigers, they frequently declare themselves neutral in times of conflict, opting to remain detached from the situation unless it can somehow benefit them. Despite their standing, the Dragon gang has formed an alliance with the Vipers, although it is tenuous and unstable. Similar territorial interests create friction between the two, and disputes have been known to break out unpredictably. DCPD The Dalitica City police force is the only thing that stands between the four gangs taking complete control of the city. Though The DCPD is overworked and underpaid, they know they are the only ones there to protect the regular citizens and uphold justice. The gang members outnumber the police force greatly, but they continue on knowing that if they can stop even just a little of the violence in the city they are doing their job.

This includes things like punctuation, capitalisation, etc. Chat speak is prohibited. 05: Coarse language and mature role play is permitted, but please make an effort to keep it tasteful and respect other people's boundaries. 06: Do not take control of another person's character (also known as god-modding; auto-hitting). Only the creator has control over what happens to their character. 07: Theft or imitation of any content, which is intellectual property of other members or staff, will result in immediate membership termination. 08: When role playing, you must put your character tag with every post. Please contact the staff if you don't know how to do this, for we are more than willing to help. 09: You may be in as many role plays as you wish, although we ask that you do not bite off more than you can chew and/or leave people hanging.
