This cult is dedicated to the manga (and anime) D.Gray-man, so that all the stalkers obsessed fans have a place to gather here at VF and discuss theories, favourite characters and whatever they want DGM related.
Often the current convos on the threads are off-topic since we're done discussing the topic long ago, but feel free to get us back on track by replying to the original topic once more!

Only D.Gray-man related topics are allowed, but it's okay if the convos on the threads go off-topic for a while. 3. All that stupid stuff like racism, homophobia, religious-obsession and such - forget about it. 4. You know, just be a nice person in general. 5. Type decently! ppl wHo Typ lyK diS annoy me terribly. 6. It'd be nice if you invited every once in a while. Really nice. I'll love you forever if you do? *puppy dog eyes* 7. No drama. Please. Careful with what you say about things/aspects of whatever you're discussing/characters you hate, and don't take things others say too personally. *is a hypocrite, but whatever. Don't do it!* 8. Feel free to create a thread for yourself in the Fanart/Fanfiction sub-forum. Please add [FANART] or [FANFICTION] to the thread title - so you can post your own fanart and fanfiction, with separate rules for the two:
a) In the case of fanfictions, you can create a thread per story. NO M-RATED/NC-17 RATED STUFF.
You can post the story directly on the thread as long as you add a SUMMARY at the top of it, with a short description of the story. But it's preferred if you just write the summary with A LINK TO THE STORY.
b) In the case of fanart... for now, you can create a new thread for each new drawing/painting/whatever (STILL NO M-RATED/NC-17 RATED STUFF), but if it starts getting too messy this might change.
Also, you can post the fanart directly on the thread, or just post a link to it. Please give it a title that clearly says what kind of fanart you have in there (as in, which character(s)? is it a parody? is it pairing art? etc.)
c) REMEMBER RULE #3. If anyone wrote/drew something you don't like, NO FLAMING. You start drama, then you and I and Mugen will have a talk. 9. If you need help, ask me. 10. Have fun! 11. I am God.

Harpy is obssessed with DGM and has given up having a life in favour of being online for as long as possible. She thinks about DGM during 70% of her day and is prone to violent fits if her beloved characters are unjustly insulted. Handle with caution. |

D.Gray-man (????????, D? Gureiman) is an ongoing Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Katsura Hoshino. The series tells the story of a boy named Allen Walker who is able to use an ancient substance called Innocence, and becomes an Exorcist in order to collect all the Innocence that is lost in the world alongside other Exorcists, with the purpose of using the rescued Innocence fragments to defeat the Millennium Earl - a misterious being capable of using the souls of the dead to create terrifying monsters named "akuma". Akuma are killing machines that disguise themselves as humans in order to kill and evolve. Only Innocence is capable of destroying them and saving the souls trapped inside them while doing so. He's determined to achieve his goals of saving both Akuma and humans, and is willing to sacrifice even himself in order to do so.
He also wants to keep the promise he made to his late foster father to "always keep walking forward, no matter what" |
Lenalee Lee
Female Protagonist

Lenalee, the female protagonist, Chinese and 15 years old. Her Innocence is an equipment-type called Dark Boots, with which she can fly and cut through Akuma.
What matters the most to Lenalee are her family (she only has her brother, Komui) and her friends, and will do anything to protect them.
Lenalee is hard-working and friendly, and arguably the love interest, or a potential love interest of the main character.

Yuu Kanda
The Swordsman

Kanda Yuu is Japanese and 18 years old, and his Innocence is an equipment type, a katana named Mugen [Six Illusions]. He likes soba and tempura and dislikes too many things to list. He has a sharp tongue and is quick to anger.
Kanda acts cold and insensitive and seems to despise self-sacrificing and overly affectionate people, but he's trustworthy and reliable and will protect his companions' backs even if it means putting himself in the line of fire. |
Komui Lee
The Scientist

| | Komui Lee, Chinese, 29 years old. He's Lenalee's older brother, and the Supervisor of the Science Division of the Dark Order and Chief of the Main Branch of the Dark Order. As previously stated, he's a scientist and not an Exorcist, and so he doesn't possess an Innocence weapon.
Komui is the one that assigns missions to the Exorcists, since he's the one receiving intel from the Order's Finders all over the world. |
Bookman
The Scholar

| | There is not much that is known about the Bookmen Clan. Mostly, that they are recorders of the hidden history, travelling across the world to record the important events that will never make it to the known history. Bookman is of unknown nationality and 88 years old, and has an equipment type Innocence called Heaven Compass. |
Lavi (Bookman Jr.)
The Bookman Apprentice

| | Lavi [Lion, in Hebrew] is the current alias of Bookman's apprentice. He's 18 years old and, like Bookman, of unknown nationality. His Innocence is an equipment type, a hammer that can grow to whatever size Lavi wants it to, named Tessei, but he prefers to call it Odzuchi Kodzuchi.
Lavi likes reading and sleeping, and it was his thirst for knowledge that led him to wanting to become a Bookman. However, he has to abide by the strict Bookmen code and his role is limited to watching and recording events, something that with his time in the Black Order he seems to have come to have mixed feelings about. |
Millenium Earl
Main Antagonist

| | Creepy clown-like being that proves that clowns are the source of all evil.
The Earl is a strange being with a tremendous power. He builds his army of akuma [demons] by preying on the sorrowful and the mourning (more details in the ABOUT DGM section).
The Earl seems to believe that humans and Innocence are filthy and unworthy, and that the Earth should be cleaned of their existence. he claims that he and his Noah clan are the true Chosen of God. |
