Oh yeah, it's that easy.
1. Don’t even bother joining when you’re younger than 16.
2. Post your application in a new thread, titled [your name] is a CandyKitten-to-be? Just push the “New Topic” button and there you go.^^
3. You MUST have a valid salute to get in. Don’t give us lame excuses like “I don’t have a camera right now, but I can give you a salute in 2 weeks!” Just apply in two weeks then, it’s that simple.
4. Use HTML. We have a HTML-helpdesk, so no excuses for giving us like the URLS of your pictures for example. You obviously don’t have to do complicated shit if you don’t want to, but you show some effort by using HTML. =)
5. Give us full answers. We wanna know who you are, the way you think etc. So one word answers won’t get you accepted.
6. Please don’t start discussions in your own application. If you don’t agree on something someone said, and you seriously feel misjudged, you can post in the “Problem” thread. Please feel free, we’re not bad people! =)
7. Last but not least, put “I wannabe a CandyKitten” as answer on the last application question “Anything else?”

Why do I need to post an salute? I have 1000 other pictures!
The reason we want a salute is for you to show us that you're real. There are too many fakes here on VF. The chance that a fake has an salute, is pretty small. This cult doesn't want any fakes and that shouldn't be a problem.
How do I know that I'm in or out?
You're in when you have 10 x yes, out when you have 6 x no. We will give reasons why you're rejected or accepted. Also, votes of the staffmembers are counted double.
What do I do when I'm accepted?
You click on the cateyes to go to the maincult. That cult is membership by approval too, but relax, you only have to tell us that you're accepted. Of course we'll let you in. =)
What do I do when I'm rejected?
Well, you can re-apply only once. Read why you were rejected, and try to make your app better^^
How do I post my application?
You post your application, by going to "new topic". As subject you say "YOURNAME is a CandyKitten-to-be?" and then you have a big empty box, in which you can put your application.
When your done, click on "preview". Then "Prepare to be assimilated (click here to submit)". That's the way your app is going to look like. If you're satisfied, click again on "Prepare to be assimilated (click here to submit)" again, and then you've posted your app^^
