Keywords for searches (I threw some bands in there just... because): NIN, Nine inch nails, art is resistance, AIR, photography, artistic, government, anarchy, otep, psyclon nine, marilyn manson, expression, aesthetic, drawing, painting, photomanipulation, photo, graphic design, photoshop, web design, music, non-game, creative, creativity, manipulation, fashion, profanity, profane, intelligent  Art Is Resistance. This cult is about an underground organization of people who want to take a stand and change their world using art. It was started, I believe, by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. There are several websites about AIR, they all have different hidden names using things such as titles from songs by NIN. It's all really interesting, definitely check out the links I have listed in additional info. Since it IS such an occult thing, I don't know a lot of information about it, so don't take all this from me. See for yourself (Watch your volume, it still scares the shit out of me).  You do NOT have to be from the US to be a part of AIR. This cult isn't limited to the resistance itself - It's for anyone with a genuine interest in self-expression through art.
This IS currently an application cult.
This cult IS about art. Any form of art, really. There will be contests, not to show who is the best, but to motivate and inspire people to practice using their talents and skills.
Types of art could include (digital or traditional):
photography, drawing and illustration, painting, poetry and writing, photomanipulation, graphic design, web design, and anything else people would be willing to suggest. Even music!
This cult is NOT for who-can-get-the-most-posts games such as counting, icon rate, x vs x, "what time is it?", hot or not, etcetera.
This cult IS for people who are reasonably mature and know how to communicate using proper grammar. Type "Trent is my sexy bitch" in reply to "Are you a NIN fan?" when applying to prove you read the rules!
This IS a cult for discussion. They can range from things like government issues to music to your favorite movie. Just actual conversations and debates, not 3-word sentences.
