An international community for Goths, Punks and all other VF members who are against the destructive capitalist system. Be they Socialist, Marxist, Anarchist or other leftwingers.
The purpose of this cult, we hope, is to go beyond simply discussing the problems of capitalism and the wonders of socialism. We're hoping this can be the beginning of the alternative societies of the world to work together to do something about it. When we say, do something about it, we don't mean violent revolution. We here at Alternative Left do not see the violent overthrowing of a government as productive to what we desire. We want to help create a world where there are no "haves" and "have-nots". We aren't a bunch of people who want a world without rules just simply because they make us feel limited. We wish to bring about something more enlightened than that.
We are looking to promote knowledge about Socialism, Marxism, Anarchism and other leftist policies.We're looking to promote knowledge about how Capitalism hurts us. We're looking to promote knowledge about how we can get involved in change in our parts of the world. We are here to share our triumphs and defeats as we work to make changes. We are looking to achieve change in a positive way by working within the system, not overthrowing. We're looking to help one another with realistic solutions to the problems of capitalism, not fantasize about unreal solutions.
We're not simply a legalization of marijuana or other psychotropic substances cult. We're not against drugs, per se, but we're here to make a better economy for the world as a whole. We're also not a conspiracy theorist cult. Evidence of dirty deeds is welcome but we'd prefer to not delve into extreme ideas that involve connecting a bunch of dots and reading obscure things between lines. There are other cults for that and we respect your right to believe what you believe.
We welcome debate but not drama. Debate involves claims being backed up by factual support, not sensationalism and name calling.
