1. Please be respectful of others opinions.

2. Try to post your opinions as opinions not fact, anyone can be wrong.

3. Do not interrupt IC threads with OoC comments, especially if you are not playing in them.

4. Try to post often, we don't want the cult to stagnate.

Some RPG Rules:

1. Don't God Mode: this includes all speaking on the behalf of another player. This game is freeform to a large degree, if you are unsure whether or not your character is capable of doing something either ask in the Q&A thread or PM a staff member.

2. No OoC drama: if you have a problem with another member, take it elsewhere. If you really can't resolve problems with another player PM a staff member and ask for mediation.

3. Keep OoC comments to a minimum in IC threads/posts, and IC comments completely out of OoC. Remember to mark OoC comments as "OoC:" in IC threads.

4. Do not post IC until your character has been approved/accepted by me. Breaking this one more then once will get your membership from this cult deleted.

5. Do not write characters that are too close to those found in the show.

6. All IC threads must be marked "IC" in the subject line.

7. IC - write in third person, unless actually speaking IC: then place it in "these".

8. Keep it 13+, you don't know the age of other players and you shouldn't have to.

9. Don't leave other players hanging: if you can't make it back to play your character, write yourself out (or at least ask the persons you are interacting with if they mind pausing).

10. Your character name and other pertinent details will be shown in your title once your character has been approved.

11. IC - always aim to give too much description rather than not enough, try to spell correctly, and write in full sentences.

12. Don't be in two or more places at a time, in other words, don't play in more than one thread at a time. Finish in one IC thread before posting in another.

13. Once your character has been approved DO NOT EDIT IT!. This will be considered cheating and will get your membership deleted. If you wish to add to your character simply write a new post in the Character Applications: thread and wait for it to be approved before using this new information IC.

14. Once you have been accepted into this cult you have one week to write a character (normally, if you do not wish to be a part of the roleplaying simply say so and this will be put in your title: [Non-roleplayer]). You must post at least once every two weeks thereafter or it will be assumed you are not really interested in being a part of the roleplaying (which will automatic get you the afore mentioned title).
Failure to do either may get your membership deleted, making your character a NPC (Non-Player Character) if you have one. If you are going to be absent for longer than this for any reason please simply open a post letting us know and we will lift this rule for you.

15. No "speed posting": allow others to respond before posting again yourself. If you forgot something important, simply edit your post and add it. This isn't a good idea if anyone has responded, as it will probably be overlooked and mess up the flow of play.

16. It is recommended that you read ALL the stuck threads (those that are pinned at the top of the thread list). There is a rather sharp learning curve to this game.

17. Posting "IC" is limited to 4 posts per day.

18. Due to "IC" threads being lost with members you must now request an "IC" thread in Cult construction discussion and IC thread requests, please remember to put a description.
