Bombs Over Berlin is the solo project of one Jim Gauge. He started the band in Sept. of 2001 and named it for his fascination with the horrors of World War II. "Humanity at our worst, and our best at the same time." So it is with Gauge's music-- a positive way of dealing with his inner demons. Gauge's sound is meloncholy yet progressive, encompassing everything from heavy industrial to electronic rock/synth-pop, and is gaining a wide crossover audience.
Bombs have opened for numerous national and touring acts including Combichrist, Shiny Toy Guns, Slick Idiot, The Genitorturers, Pitbull Daycare, Attrition, The Cruxshadows, and Seraphim Shock. The song "Love Asylum" was remixed by Cleopatra Records artists Razed In Black(visit www.razedinblack.net), and can be heard and purchased on the players above. The band has showcased for Warner Bros., Virgin, and Island/Def Jam Records.
