BOTDF is An electronica movement that formed in 2007, in Orlando, Florida. The group's original line up is Dahvie Vanity & Jayy Von Monroe. Together they have sold over half a million mp3's and continue to dominate the electronica world today. The game changers remain currently unsigned and have the reputation as the peoples band with their ever expanding legion of fans know as the "SLASH GASH TERROR CREW!". BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR is one of the most controversial bands in the scene today and, whether you love them or hate them, there is no denying the catchy songs and spectacular stage show that has made them one of the most popular bands with today’s youth. Now the band is gearing up to release their second proper full length album on June 14th. ‘All the Rage’ is 13 songs filled with catchy music and choruses you’ll be hearing long after you finish the album but it also becomes a more personal record for the band. “We didn’t want to make another record. We wanted to make a personal record for our fans,” explains Dahvie Vanity. “‘All The Rage’ isn’t about fashion. When we use the word rage, it’s all about emotion and becoming the change you want to see in yourself and the world. ‘Epic’ was an introduction to Blood On The Dance Floor. ‘All The Rage’ is a much more fulfilled, more personal record. It’s 13 different songs, 13 different “rages” that make up me and Jayy and what drives us.” On June 14th, the record will be available at Hot Topic, FYE and online everywhere. Soon after, BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR will then hit the road as part of Vans Warped Tour, where they will spend their entire summer promoting ‘All the Rage’. Not only that, but the live performance has expanded once again and now sees the Dahvie and Jayy backed by a full four-piece band now. “It’s not about being a one man show. It’s all of our show. We’ve finally come through as a one-man unit. An ultra-force. Kids save up for this tour all year. We want to make it worth it for them. We want to go out there and show them our love for them. Love is the message. Usually division/hate is created from things we just don't understand or comprehand and thus we flip out and rage. But if we can try to understand others the best way we can even wish people all the luck in the world and move on in our journey than we are on the right path. And that road is total peace.
