Band Members include Fuchsia (vocalist), Hurley (synth), R. Duke (drums), Teresa (electric violin), and Divad (guitar). Kal3id is no longer performing with Bella Lune, but is still involved in the music.

History:
The core of Bella Lune is Fuchsia and Kal3id ("collide"), who met in October of 2005. They wrote and produced their debut album 'Abstracted Visions' by October 31, 2007. The CD was released in print March 31, 2008. After the release of their debut album, they recruited Hurley to play live synth.

"Imagine if Cranes and The Cure met in a dark alley... 'Abstracted Visions' will appeal to fans of both bands as well as Cocteau Twins and Curve." -- Auralgasms.com

In the summer of 2008, Fuchsia had a photo shoot with Fender Guitars. By November of 2008, the band had released their first music video for the song 'Neverwhere', which was filmed by Light Pulse Studios, and can be seen on bellalune.net.

In early 2009, Bella Lune recruited a drummer, R. Duke, for their live show. They were the first band to open for Phoenix's largest gothic venue, "Club Tranzylvania", on Friday the 13th of February. In April of 2009, Bella Lune released their second music video for the song "Transmissions". (also filmed and produced by Light Pulse Studios) The new video had its debute before a live audience (on Friday, April 10th, 2009) with Voltaire and The Spider Hole on Voltaire's "The Bottom Of The Sea" tour. They also shared the stage with My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult,(May 1st) at The Sets in Tempe, AZ. Also with Julien-K (ex-Orgy), (May 11th) at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ. They opened for Peter Murphy at music venue The Marquee Theatre (June 14th) with a new violinist, Teresa (Esteban's daughter). Peter was so impressed that he personally asked Bella Lune to tour with him, but unfortunately plans didn't fall through.

Future plans:
Bella Lune has filmed music video "Blissful Escape" with Light Pulse Studios. It will release Oct 3rd, 2009 at their performance held at Club Mardi Gras.

Press

"On their debut album, Bella Lune draws influences from many of darkwave and coldwave's luminaries delivering a record that will appeal to fans of Collide, and Switchblade Symphony. The final product 'Abstracted Visions' is a fusion of modern trip-hop electro and post-shoegaze sensibility, interlacing slinky vocals and catchy synth lines, resulting in an engrossing listen that simulates the feeling of flowing through water."
-- Musicfolio.com

"Traversing the musical spectrum from somber dark wave to catchy pop through more trip-hop moments and other melancholic songs, this project offers a chilling mixture of emotional female vocals full of contrasts and passion."
-- Side-Line.com

"Soul-stirring sound in a glamorous fantasy world. "Abstracted Visions" is a combination of Dream-Pop/Trip-Hop/Shoegaze/Darkwave/Electro-Goth. Miss Fuchsia has the voice of an angel over the top of beautiful, crystalline, delicate, enchanting, musical brilliance... A fantastic way to build sound. "Abstracted Visions" is my favorite new album of 2008. Fans of Switchblade Symphony, Collide, The Birthday Massacre, and Hungry Lucy will enjoy this masterpiece. "

"‘Abstracted Visions’ is an album with atmospherically dense compositions sure to please the ears of fans from THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE and their likes, but also people who like minimalist Cold Wave arrangements with a good pinch of ambience and want to drift into the past for a while might want to risk an ear on this well crafted debut."
-- ReflectionsOfDarkness.com

"When I listen to "Abstracted Visions" I hear flashes of my some of my favourite bands of all-time on gorgeous pop songs like 'Out Of Control', 'Transmissions', Neverwhere', 'Underwater', and 'Blissful Escape'. Fuchsia and Kal3id manage to replicate, in their own unique way the beauty and lushness of bands like Cocteau Twins, Clan Of Xymox, Depeche Mode, and O.M.D., just to name a few. Beautiful layers of guitars, hooky keyboard lines, propelled by bass synth and drum machine really lay the right backdrop for Fuchsia's angelic vocal delivery. Finding music of this caliber and a stage show to match in Phoenix, Arizona is really a thing of beauty, but that's just what Bella Lune delivers. There is hope yet for another breakout band from Phoenix."

"Their melodic sense is brilliant"
